Watched it a month ago.. I didn't read the synopsis, or any detail about the film.
Just jumped in and watched, and it literally caught me off guard and scared me (spiritually) for 2 days!!

its so good. i didn't realize the director also made "i am the pretty thing that lives in the house" whihc is a netflix original. We dont get horror movies of this style too often, so its always great when one pops up on the radar.

Blackcoat's daughter is not a scary movie, and neither do I consider it a psychological thriller....the movie falls in between horror and suspense, honestly I just watched for Kiernan Shipka and Emma Roberts 😍
