The infinite balcony to me is great if you are in a cold place where you can enjoy the view. I was on the there the weekend of the 20th. I love to sit on the balcony to hear the ocean and feel the breeze. My roommate never wanted the window open. So to me I rather have the balcony
Hi Johanna! Great point. It was often in the 70s on our cruise, so opening the window did not make it too uncomfortable inside. So, it was great. I agree with you that it would be super on a cruise to somewhere cold. Appreciate you!
With your partner you can play drafts (checkers) ... you open the window, she closes the window...repeat. It's a joke, but only if you call checkers drafts as we do in the UK.
I think I'd enjoy this setup with such a gorgeous view. We aren't sun-seekers. We could still enjoy that "balcony" space even if the weather was too hot, cold, or wet to sit outside.
Even though I'll probably never sail on this ship, I watched the entire video. I have that same gray back pack @ 2:09. It's all you need for a 2-3 day get away.
Thank you for telling us where the safe was. Hubby was convinced they decided to go without them. 😂 I love the seating area in front of the balcony window. 🤩 Also, great tip to lock that window so the kiddos don’t get at the button. 🤩
Great room tour! Closet space does seem a bit tight. The vanity is nice and large. Don't love that the air shuts off when the window is open. Probably better to do it on a sea day than a port day if maybe you catch a breeze.
It is combo body wash and shampoo. Guys are used to this. The stuff can probably also be used in the dishwasher, to wash your car, and to degrease your barbecue grill. Ladies might want to bring shampoo.
I’ve watched a few videos now featuring the infinite balcony, from various creators. I have seen videos that have your set up where the bed is right next to the balcony; and I’ve seen the reverse. I think that if I were to book the infinite balcony room that I personally would prefer the room with the bed away from the balcony. Beautiful room either way.
The room configuration is a little bit off. Not sure why you would have the TV placed so the bed has great viewing. I have stayed in staterooms like this before and if seated on the sofa you view at an angle. The closet is pretty small, even for someone that packs minimally. I expected a more up to date stateroom,
I like for shampoo and conditioner to be supplied as I travel carry on only. Also I’m not sure a bout that type of “balcony”. Very good and informative video.
Little bit of comedy always is good. Looks like you are enjoying the cruise. How do you like the "Icon"? I don't think that I would like the mega ships. Are there many lines for things? Do you guys recommend it? Just curious as I value your opinions. Don H Ocala, Fl.
Thanks for the cabin review. Issues i would have in that room.... Safe is too small. Personally I would prefer to have a door to the balcony as per traditional balcony cabins. I like to sit on the balcony with heat and sun but step into an airconditioned room when I get too hot. As an elderly Brit, the ICON of the seas is too jazzy for me sorry to say but I can see the appeal for younger American families and larger groups.
Neat room but think id rather have a normal balcony with all the hot places i go i still want a door, I bet it be neat on a destination its a little colder
Not a fan of the balcony- husband likes to sleep in and I love coffee on the balcony and read, while I feel the ocean breeze. It’s only a window and makes the room hot. Kelly’s Good Morning cut is adorable!!
I heard that you have to carry your phone with you on all these cruise ships now Carnival Royal Caribbean etc. for dining reservations updates all the stuff. How does this work if you do not get the Wi-Fi package because I do not want the Wi-Fi package but how does my phone still work if I’m required to have it
The cruise lines provide shipboard WI-FI which enables you to connect to their app to make reservations for dining, shows and enables you to see the list of activities, hours that various venues are open, etc. You don't pay for this. The app can also be used on Icon to access the controls that are on the stateroom electronic panel by the door (temperatures, lights, windows and black out shade).
The noise from the motors that raise/lower the window and blackout blinds is surprisingly loud. I've heard this concern expressed on other reviews, too. How much privacy did the curtains provide, if you don't want to lower the blackout blind?
On your next cruise, will you choose infinite ocean balcony, or traditional? I’m about to book my ‘25 Star of the Seas trip, but I’m still on the fence between infinite Ocean balcony or traditional 🤔 the humidity filling the room is what concerns me and would discourage me from having the window open as often. I think if I closed the curtains, it would keep a lot of that heat/humidity out of the rest of the room, though.
We had a regular balcony, my favorite, I like to sit outside in the warmth 8:30 and listen to the waves while reading a good book. We have done those on Celebrity, not my favorite!
Thanks for the video and reinforcing why infinite balconies aren't for me. It's basically a bay window that opens. Also looks like they cheaped out on the closet space and the body wash is a combo body wash/shampoo which isn't great.
𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲: The body wash in the shower is actually listed as being for "body + hair".
That's amazing to know as I have a hairy body.
BTW: Congrats on 100K subscribers.🎂🎂🎂🎂
Hi Friend! Thank you so much!!
Great video!! Thank you!
Thank you so much my Friend!
I love the lighted mirror.

You guys are adorable. You are by far my very favorite cruise channel. Thanks for all you do!
Hi Judy! Thank you so much!

Hope you are having a wonderful time
.
What a lovely spacious airy room. Hope you're having a lovely time
I love this type of balcony.
Hi Teresa! Yeah, we did also. It may be our next favorite!
Great room tour. Smooth & steady
Hi Marilynn! Thank you!
Great video…. Nov 2, 2024 my cruise date on this ship,,, I can’t wait!

Hi Glenn! Thank you so much my Friend!

I love your videos! We are going on the Sun Princess with a Cabana and balcony! Really enjoyed seeing your infinate balcony ❤❤😊
Thank you for telling us where the safe was. Hubby was convinced they decided to go without them. 😂 I love the seating area in front of the balcony window. 🤩
Also, great tip to lock that window so the kiddos don’t get at the button. 🤩
I am an over packer and we had plenty of empty spaces! Loved the ship!
Thanks for another very informative video. 🥰💖🛳
You two are fantastic! ❤
Hi Janiece! Thank you so much! You are very kind!
@@TheTravelScouts You're welcome! 🥰

Appreciate you my Friend!
We’d be in trouble with the lack of closet space!
😊 Thank you so much i really enjoyed this video. Im planning to take my kids
Yep, I bring my own!
Hi Belinda! Yeah, Kellie does also. I am good with whatever. Of course, I do not have near as much hair to deal with. 🤣 Appreciate you!
Great tour! We were just down the hallway from you! Room 11193!

So jealous ❤
Love your video. FYI…it is not shelfing, it is shelving. 😊

Great video. Great you can lock infinite balcony window if need be.
Still want to see video at full capacity. How the ship deals with crowds etc.

Our AC stayed on when the window was down. We did make sure it was not in Eco mode.

Hi Friend! Thanks for sharing your input. I love getting feedback and views!
That free-standing table seems like it would be in the way. Did you find any place to put it that seemed less intrusive? Would it fit under the bed?
Would yo happen to know if you can move the tv to place a media device behind it?
Neat room but think id rather have a normal balcony with all the hot places i go i still want a door, I bet it be neat on a destination its a little colder
It looks like a beautiful ship but too big for me. How many cruises would it take to see it all?
Hi Simon! Definitely a lot to take in!
Great room tour!
Question.... Did you request that exact room?
I also tried to get your Cruise Planner but was not able to...

*Which airport do I have to go to, to fly on the icon of the seas?*
Hi Friend! The Icon of the Seas is homeported in Miami.

How many nights was the cruise and where did it go?
Jay, what shoes are you wearing? They look nice with a wide toe box.

Not related. But we're cruising out of Washington ,pier 66 . What's a reasonable hotel ? May 10th? Mother's day
Did you talk with Chris Wong Vlogs in the casino?
Is the infinite balcony worth the extra money?
So is it just a big window and not an actual balcony??
The only issue with that room is the captain can turn off window if it’s rough seas!
We sailed on an infinite balcony on Celebrity, we didn't love it or hate it. It was "OK". Would I select it over a standard balcony.... No.
I use ships
Hi Simon! Thanks for watching and commenting!

So, if the A/C did not shut down when the balcony doors open, does everyone here expect the tiny cabin unit to air condition the entire Caribbean? 🤔
Where's the hairdryer
ShelFing or shelVing?😊
Thanks for the video and reinforcing why infinite balconies aren't for me. It's basically a bay window that opens.

The wonder is better
You can tell you army we all have snaff fue from british military
This ship has both kinds of balconies. Why pick and IV.
Don't like the window
Over priced cruise o
Way over priced. Americans can barely put food on there tables
