But this bag is so much fun.

I'm over here dancing around because I helped you. It gave me a fit too, but it'd so easy once you get it. I'm going to buy snap machine and put snaps on it too.
Just started watching your channel! Enjoyed joining you at the Quilt Shows via UTube! You did a great job sharing what you saw! I too fell in love with B Bag when you showed it at the show! Bought the pattern and made one! Definitely much easier to cut on fold! And I love the way you demoed the dart!
Love watching your channel!!!

This is a cute bag. Thanks for the tutorial.
You’re welcome 😊
Love the embroidery too! The ladies are fierce 🔥
Rashida has the best designs
Just received my pattern in the mail today. Love it. Can most likely use left over sandwiches for potholders or small mini zippered purses... LOL........ Can the Maxi be used as a carry-on on the airplanes? Have some travel fabric for same if it can be used that way....
I think it can be used, but I'd add a closure of some sort. I'm so excited about everyone loving this pattern
@@MACoutureCrafting Thinking a Velcroe square/strip with two buttons to pull it apart, one on each side.... Done that on tote bags etc. in the pastor an inserted zipper. Have done that too.
@@peggycox1378 sounds good to me
My seamstress grandma who taught me to sew just starting screaming in my head with your approach to the darts. I learned to garment sew before quilting. Sew … (excuse the pun) … darts are marked with a V and what you would normally do with a garment is bring the fabric together without cutting the fabric. The pattern is marked with a notch so you would bring the corners together and sew your seam together. If there isn’t a lining you might want to bind the seam to prevent fraying.
I had to read this twice and yep. That makes sense! I bet our bag will be fabulous.
How far up did you cut for the dart? I don’t have any experience with darts🤔
I didn't either. I knew nothing about darts. I just followed the pattern to the best of my ability.
My Viking can handle the bulk. 😂
I believe you. You got this!
What was your reasoning for sewing the darts that way?
3 reasons
1 I think that's what the instructions said to do but I'm new to darts so I may have gotten it wrong.
2 It keeps the raw edges enclosed. I like French seams
3. Taking the bulk out of that area seemed to be pleasant for my sewing machine.
@@MACoutureCrafting That makes sense. If you sewed the data according to the instructions on the pattern, would it have left raw edges inside? I think I might see mine the same as you because it looks so clean and tight.
@denisepappalardo8201 it's such a nice finish. I think I did it the way the instructions say but I struggled to understand a bit with that part. I need videos with everything.
The dotted line is the cutting line for darts as stated in instructions. Just saying.
I'm confused i thought I followed the instructionsfor the darts correctly. I took the instructions to mean the dotted line was for the batting only.
Look at step 6, the dotted line is the sewing line.
@@Quilt4Joy I can't wait to ask Dora one day I've gotten so many comments about it.
@@MACoutureCrafting I use to be a seamstress, the dotted line for clothing patterns is the sewing line and the black outline is the cutting line. I’d like to know too what Dora says on this. Interesting for sure.
