Excellent, enjoyed your craftsmanship. If you’re open for some well meant constructive criticism. The only thing I saw that would’ve made that install better would’ve been blackened stainless steel screws. I know it makes no difference if you’re a utility only type. But it does look less generic and more factory to me. Thanks for sharing that information. I enjoyed it.
Yeah it makes it really easy. When I get back from fishing I put my Bixpy battery and my electronics pod in my milk crate and carry them in to put on the charger. Works pretty well !
@@pointblankokc Hi Mike - thanks for your reply. I have a Shearwater also and I keep my battery in the pod as well. How are you routing your wires from the lights and into the pod?
Fishin n Stuff is a great channel! I’m hoping to do this on my Ascend 128x. It’s pre wired with a Yak Power system. 3 of the 5 circuits are pre wired for other things but I have two circuits left that I plan to dedicate to bow and stern navigation lights.

Same idea I was thinking to do. Use a jumper from electronics pod to all hull wiring. Makes it easy to remove pod with graph and battery.

Awesome video. I didn’t see a link to the lights you used. Could you provide it?
Holy shit, you're in OKC?!?!
Yeah, east side of town.
@@pointblankokc Nice! I grew up on he south side, I live down by Altus while I'm going to school then moving back up that way.
Where did you get that decal on the bow of your kayak..looks bad ass
Thank you ! I made it. I own a decal company.
@@pointblankokc how much do you sell them for. Do you got a website?
@@roofrat68 my website is www.jeepstickers.biz but you can get them on eBay or Amazon cheaper than I can make them for you.
@@pointblankokc where do I look for them on ebay/Amazon?
@@roofrat68 just type in shark teeth kayak sticker.
Great Job man!
Nice clean install
Thanks 👍
What kayak stands are those?
They are just a pair of harbor freight parts stands
what battery do you use?
Just a 12aH from Walmart. There are lots of nicer lithium batteries out there though that’s for sure.
Where do you keep your battery?
In the Shearwater there's an electronics pod. I keep my battery in there. In my wife's Yellowfin she has a separate battery box that she plugs in.

@@billclaridge7091 I just made a pigtail with SAE plug ends that runs from the pod to the SAE plug I put at the font end of the yak.
Man.. this is so nicely done. Do mine for me!!
