Great resort, perfect for couples and group vacations. We stayed here with a group of 8 last summer and had an amazing time. Food was good but not too many options to chose from, but was ok because it is Cuba and we knew were we are coming.
Overall, it's a nice resort with a white sandy beach. The staff is kind and appears to be happy. The surroundings are lovely and well-kept. For Cuban shortages, the food is excellent. Perfect beach vacation for us. Great video tour.
I so want to know how the Cayo Santa Maria Royalton compares. We are regulars to Varadero Royalton and even got married here in 2017. But we are thinking of trying Cayo Santa Maria this time. Nostalgia calls to Varadero, novelty calls to Cayo Santa Maria. Nice to have choices 😊
We also stayed at the Royalton Cayo Santa Maria prior to Covid and loved it. The resort was smaller but newer, and the beach was slightly nicer with fewer people. It all comes down to personal preferences and habits. If you don't enjoy long drives, keep in mind that Royalton Cayo Santa Maria is around 1:40 minutes from the airport.
We had a great time once again at this resort back in May. Very nice staff and a special thanks to our butlers for taking care of all our needs while we were there. We will be back next year! Great video.
We stayed here a few years ago, just before COVID-19, and had an excellent stay. Clean, well-organized resort with lovely surroundings and a fantastic beach. Staff will go out of their way to keep you happy and relaxed, just like a good vacation should. Very nice video and Thank you for sharing.
I tried to book for my kids in this resort and Sunwing web always rejected me😂 now I now it’s adult only. I am heading there with my spouse on January. Thanks for excellent footage of the resort.

By far the best adults only resort in Varadero. I have been to Royalton Hicacos a few times and have always enjoyed it. Good people and awesome beach!

It is adults only 18+. Everyone can enjoy their vacation the way they want with no restrictions but being respectful to others. 🙂

It is, but you can always try a newer resort in Varadero; there are plenty of them there.

Cuba is not about food, unfortunately, too many shortages in the country. The beaches are one of the best in the Caribbean.
Sure you not going to find a McDonald. Try cuban way preparing the food.
