Goodlettsville is our hometown and Grand Ole RV is our home base! It's where we stay when we go back for doctor appointments, etc. We love it! Our only negatives are the train and the lack of a real playground for the kids. The train woke me up our first night (we were closer than you during that stay), but to be fair that was also our first night EVER in our new RV and it hasn't bothered me as much ever since. You do get used to it, but as we have traveled around the country, we have definitely stayed at soooo many campgrounds with trains nearby! The good thing about the Grand Ole train is it doesn't honk the horn as it goes by. The campground where we are currently isn't as close, but the horn is loud so it's worse! Worth noting. Also, if anyone reading this has kids and need a place to take them to burn off energy, Peay Park is down the road (near those cute stores you mentioned) and Moss Wright Park isn't far either...both fun for our kids! Long Hollow Pizza and Pub is really good too. And for anyone looking for a church to go to on Sunday, @LongHollow Church is in neighboring Hendersonville and is absolutely AMAZING! It's what we miss the most about being in TN full-time. Anyway, we are headed back to Grand Ole very soon! We just always request to be further from the train. ;) Great review!

Didn’t notice the train noise until you opened the door, and the train wouldn’t be an issue for us. The easy in and out is really worth the train noise and besides your not in the big city. Really enjoyed the video! Ace is the place!

Looks like a cute place and I don't think I would mind the train tracks. Well at least now you have a level you can just leave in the trailer right? Yes I loved the food video!!

The train didn't dother us. What we did love was the live Music.
Every night a summer. We didn't live how close the spots were when we walked out we were right on top of our Is neighbor sewer line not good

Yeah, we'd agree. Great place for a lesser expensive short term stay though! Very kind people there, and the live music is always fun.

In May we were right down street at Nashville north rv campground. I would never stay at either one of those campgrounds we were there during the tornado outbreak and heavy rain both campgrounds experienced flash flooding many campers were lost we only had minutes to get our 40’ fifth wheel hooked up and escape the campground.

Hey guys just found your channel and glad to see "some timers" like us on the Tube! Have not looked through all your videos yet, but we are heading south (from Ohio), this summer, to KY Horse Park and wonder if you all have been there? Hope to see you on the road somewhere - We subscribed and will be watching - Todd & Dee (Mulligansblog)😊

Hi Todd & Dee!! Thanks so much! Glad to have you join the fun! Yes! We love the Horse Park! Definitely will stay there again and matter of fact have a video coming up sometime soon about our favorite KY campgrounds. That one being one of them. Especially in June when everything is beautiful!
Safe travels to you as well!

Another quality video!!! I am an ACE Hardware fan also, Locally owned as opposed to the other 2 or 3 big box stores. Jarrett the cracking of the knuckles, surprised you didn’t get scolded for that.. 🥴. As you all related, this campground would be good for activities in Nashville area or maybe a quick overnight stop while traveling thru the area. Take Care!! Have Fun!! Stay Safe!!

Yes, Love Ace!! Thanks for the kind words. Sorry about the cracking knuckles lol didn’t even notice.

Did the Nashville thing, downtown and all that, sure the KOA was great but next time we will do like you did and look for something outside the city. Subscribed to y'all a few weeks back. Its nice to find weekend warriors like us. Not everyone can full time.

Hey thanks so much! Yes, we’d love to have some weekend warriors come along for the ride! Full timers and part-timers, we’re all just trying to escape the chaos & have a good time! We appreciate you connecting ☺️There’s so much to do outside the city of Nashville too! Love the campgrounds around Percy Priest Reservoir! The whole Nashville area has so many options!

@@f150bft I think maybe it was just 5 min or so each time it came through, but we honestly don't remember and didn't stay long enough during the day to notice..not sure if that's helpful or not..
