    Come with us on a full tour of the BAL RV Frame Plant in Elkhart, Indiana!
    Venture RV and BAL were so generous to invite us to tour the Norco RV frame manufacturing facility. With so many recent concerns with frame flex, and frame failure, consumers are looking closer than ever at how these RV's are being built and taking a closer look into what they're purchasing! As we should! DOES the consumer have other options than settling for parts made in other countries, or different choices in products when considering the process of how these parts are being pieced together? Yes....actually...we do! And if we didn't, maybe we should be demanding a process that isn't sub-par, considering how much money we all spend on this lifestyle! We found this tour to be extremely informative and helpful! Hopefully you guys will too!

    We thought Bobby did a fantastic job of educating us all on how consumers actually do have options when it comes to choosing a quality, American made product, and how BAL specifically, constructs their RV frames.

    This company is definitely doing things the right way, keeping everything consistent by using the right equipment to eliminate human error. I’m super impressed with their quality and cleanliness!

    Had a 2013 Jayco with a BAL NGX frame (Huck bolts). Never had any issues with the frame or signs of any significant rust throughout the 10 years of owning it. Just purchased a (brand new)2024 Keystone Bullet with all Lippert frame and components it already has rust everywhere. The rear bumper internally is rusted throughout, all of the beams where they have exposed ends have rust especially internally. The A frame has rust on all the wields. Now maybe a lot of this is surface rust but rust is rust. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

      Thanks! We thought Bobby did a fantastic job of educating us all on how consumers actually do have options when it comes to how frames are manufactured! Definitely makes us feel more confident in our current choice of RV.

    Great video! I recently read where there was an issue with frame cracking with the BAL frames using huck bolts near the center of the frame a few years back. Hopefully, they resolved the issue. I prefer American made products and quality over any of that Chinese or Mexican stuff!

    Awesome video guys! We are so proud that we have a BAL frame on our connect! Bobby seemed to be an a very nice person to be around and even says hello to the employees. I know you guys had an amazing time doing these tours!

      Thank you so much! It was such a fun tour to do! And Bobby was so kind and informative! All the employees in there were very welcoming and gracious to let us ask questions and gave us time to see what they do. They had to take us through backwards, starting at the end of the line basically so we could see them before most everybody left for the day. But that actually really helped us understand what each piece and area was as Bobby explained it. It was really interesting! And yes, makes ya feel very confident about the RV you own!

    My Micro Minnie is on a BAL frame. No issues at all. I just commented to someone about how I'm 3 years, I've never had to touch up paint any of it. First frame I've had that didn't.

    Good morning, another great factory tour. I was very impressed by the high amount of precision automation. That automation reduces minor defects. I would have liked to see Bobby a little more confident when asked about traditional 5th wheel vs gooseneck. Lastly, Val we are all disappointed we did not get to see you in orange vest and hard hat, lol!! Keep up the great videos!! Take Care!! Have Fun!! Stay Safe!!

    The bolted frame is the way to go, hope BAL puts that other clown outfit out of the RV business. If people insist when they buy an RV that it have a BAL frame the balance of power will shift in a hurry to BAL. Let those other clowns make Tonka trunks with their Chinese steel.

      Nah properly welded is better & stronger but much more expensive. These places aren't going to pay decent welders enough money.

    This is so refreshing versus the dolphin company flipper. That sham of a scam series of multiple Clickbait monetization videos by someone explains whose pockets they were in. I like the venture fifth wheel design, the main thing preventing a purchase is floor vents, width of only 96 inches, and toe kicker slides, but I love the design and the dishwasher in the new fifth wheel. And with a CCC of about 1600 pounds is a bit low for a 37 foot long rig. I really enjoyed this video and thank you and Bal for the tour. Well done.

    So what TT is using the BAL Frame?

    • @OurNextAdventurejvh
      @OurNextAdventurejvh  3 месяца назад +1

      We’re definitely not experts in the industry, we’re just consumers, so we don’t know every manufacturer that uses BAL, but our current TT which is a Venture Sporttrek does, and it’s one of the main reasons we chose this brand. KZ (under same parent company) also uses BAL. The American made frame certainly appealed to us. You can check out the Venture plant tour on our channel as well. It posted the week before this video. Hope it’s helpful! The tours were certainly educational and very helpful to us! We’re learning a ton about our options in quality products as consumers!

      And Venture’s new fifth wheel is also on a BAL frame, which is a unit we’re currently interested in upgrading to.

    Am I the only one who doesn't like when a boss/foreman/manager says "I" or "I'm" when referring to work done by others? I'm a manager and would never say "I", it's WE. We are a team.

    • @robv4053
      @robv4053 3 месяца назад

      Well, I have moved through various levels of management through executive levels and always referred to the team as it's definitely true. I'm now in the role of ownership, one of four partners actually, and I have found myself using the "I" pronouns more because fact of the matter is that I created the SOPs, quality objectives, KPIs, etc. that I want my team to run by so we all have success and the company grows. My point is that it can be appropriate. A long, long time ago my mother always talked about "we did." Well, unless that was referring to me, myself, and I, there was no we! Lol.
