Can you please explain the selection process of 190 applicants?
    Applicant A - Skill A, Points 65
    Applicant B - Skill B, Points 80
Above example, two different applicants with two different skills and points.
    1) Is Applicant B have high chance than Applicant A?
    2) Is there competition between Applicant A and B, even tgey have different skills?
    3) The only competition is within the same skill applicants?
    4) How to find the occupation ceiling value and balance of it?
    5) Are they will fill the quota before the end of the financial year?
    6) Anything else that you know about this process
    Your options are highly appreciated.

    Hi,
Quick Question - 189 and 190 visa are both skilled visas, so why is there such a huge gap in their processing times? DHA website shows 3 months processing time for 90% 189 applications but for 190 visa it shows 15 months processing time for 90% applications.

My partner applied for EOI with my EA skills assessment points in June 2021. But my EA skills assessment expired in Jan 2021. But she still applied with it. With that she received invitation recently for 189. I have heard that there is no expiry for partner's skills assessment. Is that true? We had to submit our file with those documents only due to only 60 days remaining and I had to renew my passport (because of which I couldn't get time to renew my EA skills assessment). Her all documents are valid and active. Will that be a problem for our application? I am still going to renew my skills assessment as Engineering Technologist.

    Hi Karl,
Great Video, i have one question for my 186 DE Visa, i am currently in my home country where i am working in a company for more than 4 years. In my previous company, i have worked for 2 years and 2 months but there is an issue, the work statement they have given to me is not signed but only the header of the company is on it. Now the project director of the previous company has left and there has been a restructure of the company whereby they told me it's very difficult to get it sign since they need to send it abroad in HQ(China). Do you think it can be an issue in application? or the 4 + years I have now from my current company is enough? Because the minimum requirement for the Visa 186 DE is 3 years.
