I am heading for Spring Mountain in a couple of weeks with my C8 and first time lapping there. I did have 10 years of armature SCCA racing in 944 (not very productive as it blew up more than it's share of engines) then Spec Racer Ford which is a very competitive class in NorCal. I started at 52 years old so felt pretty good that I was able to get in the top 10 several times. I wish I had seen a video like this back then. I am sure it would have made a big difference in my progress. The detail with which it is presented brings everything I learned bit's and pieces at a time together into a comprehensive whole. We will be running on Charleston Peak although I understand not the full track so I'm not sure if we will be using both bypasses or just one. Either way this will help me immensely. thank you
I'm so glad the brief tutorial helped you. I'm not sure this will help any, but here's a video at full speed in a GT4 Clubsport during qualifying. ruclips.net/video/AzNZ7YobtfY/видео.htmlsi=50PqVSaor5iwiBm2

I think Spring Mtn CP Full is one of the more technical courses given the mixture of high-speed and low-speed corners, downhill braking zones, and elevation changes with blind corners. I'd say an 8 out of 10. Willow Springs, by contrast, is very easy to learn given it's only 9 corners, but extremely hard to master given the highest average speed of any track in the Western US. So, Spring Mountain has low top speeds but is still highly technical and difficult to learn and master. It's probably the most fun track according to most people we know. People love this track.
Thank you for posting!
Our pleasure!

What's the difficulty level for Charleston Peak full course ? from 1 to 10 vs other courses.
