The eye shadows (and all powder products like blushes) are exceptional. Japanese style eyeshadows are made using a slurry process which makes application so weightless on the eyes and face, which is great for mature skin like mine. Similar to Suqqu indeed. Surratt’s shadows are more expensive but easily available in the States unlike Suqqu. I only buy eyeshadows with top notch formulas these days with slurry or baked gelée at the top of my list usually. It is worth every penny if I enjoy it.

I picked up two blush shades (cherubique and chaleur) a few months ago so I clicked over to Surratt to stare at the highlighter (coup de genie) on my Wishlist and everything is 30% off! Guess whose getting a parcel soon 😉Excellent timing Sofia!
Clinique used to have a wand-less mascara just like that Surratt one. I loved it and wore it for years (this was back in the mid-late 80s)!!! It was definitely more affordable. Wish they still made it!
JudyDoll another Asian company has a similar metal wand and it’s around ~ 10 USD It’s in brown and black. Everyone seems to love it. It’s next on my list after I finish what I have.
Love the Dew Drop . The finish is very natural and lasts long enough - for my skin (norml/dry). However, I do hate the component - along with everyone else. You can't see how much you have left & I'm glad I have the manual dexterity required for one of the stupidest components I've ever used. The powder eye shadows are lovely. I don't have creasing with the souffles but I can see where it could happen - I don't use them all over though, just as a topper/light catcher on the center. The powder blushes are lovely too. I ended up getting all this stuff (except for the souffles) half off since my local fancy pharmacy took it off the counter, prior to that I never bought it because the display didn't call to me - I needed a sales person to show me the Dew Drop before I went in with the powder products at half off too. Magnetic is so much better than tape for the pans & I have to be careful when I open the compacts. Since the Dew Drop is so nice, I'm always paying attention to what they come out with, but the only 2 shades of bronzer release pissed me off, it was 2023 I think when they came out and - 2 shades? From a NY based company? I won't support THAT kind of exclusivity.
I love a lot of the products you showed, dear Sofia, loved the video!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩For me, the first product i think about is their primer! I only wear it on better skin days, dry skin here, but when i want, for example, my Chanel Sublimage to last even longer, and my skin can handle it, i even prep extra skincare and than do these steps, it's so flawless. So, for people with less dry skin, they can use it without choosing an extra rich foundation and extra skincare. I learned this trick from Lexi, Lexi Jong, and i think this primer is so underrated, Sofia! Have a wonderful day!!!😘😘😘😘
I remember my mother using a Mac Factor mascara that was a grooved metal wand mascara. Surratt makeup brushes were my gateway brushes. They are handmade in Japan. I love the eyeshadows and blushes. The new bouncy gel shadows were a big miss for me. The Smokey Eye Batons are great. The Prismatic Eyes and the Mesmerize are beautiful. The eyeshadow palettes are great. BTW, I’ve put my loose shadows and blushes into a Z Palette. You can buy a magnetic stickers or magnetic tape to put onto the shadows and any unmagnetized palette.. I love the Eye Batons. The foundation is beautiful. The Dew Drop is great. I was blown away by their bronzers. I do love their Lipslique lipsticks. I feel so balmy on my pathetically dry lips. Surratt is one of my favorite beauty brands. So, I was overjoyed to see this review. Than you!❤❤❤

I like a lot their face brushes. I am the one who recommended you the sculpting brush and the cheek brush.😁 Surratt use to be available in Australia but not anymore. I didn’t try their makeup because for some reason didn’t speak to me. After watching your video I am tempted to buy mascara, the prismatique eyes eyeshadows and a blush. 🤔

Great review, thanks! For Canadian residents, the best prices for Surratt are at Space NK during one of their 20% off sales (which they seem to have every few months), better even than Surratt's 30% off sale. I know, crazy, but I've checked several times, and I buy from SNK regularly.

I love Surratt, have almost all the eyeshadows but do NOT get the smoky eye batons. I ended up getting rid of all of them in months, it still burns my ass 😂 just sooo patchy, hard to control, and flat. Their regular eyeshadows are beautiful, though, my favorite neutrals.
Great review. Also great timing. 30% off sitewide at Surratt. And I have been wanting that mascara, but I wasn't sure which one you loved. I like lengthening, and this seems perfect.
I bought some Surratt products a few years back and they're still like new (I ❤ preservatives). I even have Lipslique in Au Courant. What I like best in this brand are the powders. The blush, highlighter and bronzer (grisaille), that fit into palettes are divine. That micronized Japanese type quality can't be beat. And you have me interested in trying the liquid eyeliner too.
This is a weird brand. When it was released Surratt had a lot of name recognition for his editorial looks. He launched this line in 2012. A whole 3 years before Pat McGrath launched hers. And yet so few people have heard of him and his makeup. His cream and liquid products have been uneven. He's been through several foundations by now. None were winners. And I don't know how long this line will endure. That said, if this is my Holy Grail mascara (I've been looking for years since mine was discontinued), I hope Surratt lasts forever. Thanks for the video!💚

I just got my first order of surratt. I love the eyeshadows. I also really enjoy the blushes both formulas. Oh, the yeyshdow , are the single ones. I made my own pallets , which is very fun too.

My favorite Surratt products hands down are the blushes. I’ve made 3 palettes with 3 blushes each….one with pinks, one with corals, one with peaches…and a 2 palette with reds. 😂
With these and RMS, I honestly need no other powder blushes, ever. I’m generally wearing one or the other (or both)
I also love the new liquid highlighters. I use one of the 3 just about every day. I get compliments every time I wear FrouFrou.
You have inspired me to try both mascaras for the first time…and the more expensive one is out of stock! Boo!! I’ll get the one they have and get the other when it comes back in stock!
Ooh, please tell me more about the blushes! Any chance you have Cherubique in your collection? I’m curious about how intense the shimmer is, it’s such a beautiful color.
@@nicholesmith4699 I don’t have Cherubique, but I have other shades in the satin shimmer formula. When I swatch that formula on my hand I can see very small shimmers, but I don’t see them on my face at all. On my cheeks they just blend/melt in and look amazing. They add a special glow to the cheek somehow but no visible glitter. If even the thought of the potential of glitter puts you off, though, the satins have absolutely none of that and are also completely beautiful. They are my favorite satin blush, hands down.

I do love the Surratt eyeshadows & blushes and building my own palettes but....I wish the single shades did click in to the component so you could switch them out when you buy new colors. This is what makes no sense to me about their system. They also rarely come out with new shades so there's that. 😬😂
I remember when this was in Sephora and also Nordstrom space NK section. Fun fact, when Sephora was discontinuing the brand in their store, they discounted the brushes for 50% off.
I think this brand had/has a hard time connecting with the buying public . Many, who are not in the industry do not understand why their make up is so expensive. Also, unless you’re in the industry, you really don’t know who this makeup artist is. I also think the DIY aspect turned people off. It was similar to, at the time, make up forever. I think when people have to put together their own palette etc. they get intimidated. The amount and packaging as you stated is a bit small and cheap that doesn’t help their cause either.

Yeah I agree with you for a $100 that should not be falling out of the container 😳 and that single packaging is sooo cheap no no and double no there’s other brands out there. They need to step it up a bit 😳😅
Thank you for the review! I just started using Surratt and I was interested in getting some more during the sale and you narrowed it down for me! 😂. I will say that I like the Surreal skin wand BUT I have oily skin. I think that’s why it works for me. It’s a beautiful skin like finish. Definitely not for people who are looking for coverage. Very nice summary, I love this unique mascara, and I would use it even more often if it would be available in brown. I also love the blushes, some of my absolute perfect colours are in my little palette I have created just with blushes 😊
Some Korean brands have the same exact wand with brown mascara for way way less

The sale!!! I needed this video last night, as I agonized over what to buy! I wanted the bronzer after your recent video, but decided to wait for a sale. Wasn’t expecting one so soon, but yay! I decided to splurge on a blush and eyeshadow, but the only way to get the shades that I was most interested in - many were out of stock, I’m sure because of the sale - was to get one of their premade palettes, Nus Sublimes. Which is fine, but I agree with you, I would only ever buy these on sale. 💸 I had the petite eye brush in my cart, but just as you mentioned, I compared prices to all my Chikuhodo etc brushes and just couldn’t justify it. So I have bronzer, blush and eye shadow on the way! Their powder products are said to be amazing, so I sure hope so!

I can not with the eyeshadows not staying in the palette. The only way to make then stay is glue. it angers me
I had bought several items from Surrat , I was not happy with anything I bought. I messaged them and asked if I could return these items. Now I used them each twice trying to make them work. I didn’t ask for a refund I just wanted to trade items. They said no , so I won’t buy anything else because of that.
I do love the eye laquers...in principle. They're great for a sorta, I dunno, sexy-wrecked kind of look? But how many times did I go chasing that look in the last year? I'm pretty sure zero. I think it might be one of those fantasy self products for me.
I'm disappointed with the packaging of the eyeshadow. I bought 4. The least they could do is magnetize them for what I paid for them! My dew drops foundation is useless. The little button won't work. I can't get it out anymore and only used it twice. Never again. The gel eyeshadow creases.

Hi, interesting that you are not a fan of the dew drop foundation and the concealer in the component. I am 65 with dry skin and love them. The concealer is amazing, very natural and long lasting.
Hello 👋 Sofia happy Friday morning 🌄 my friend 🧡 can't wait to get your opinion on surrat beauty today I'm in a sad 😢mood due to my cat 🐈🙏😢she has chronic kidney failure so it might be the time to put her down but we are taking her to the vets first to see 👀 if the Dr's can help her or is too late she's losing more weight muscle mass is deteriorate 😢 last few days she hasn't been herself we've tried everything!

@louisesharpy thanks so much for your support 🙏 but have some good 👍 news she came home 🏡 😀 my cat 🐈 Lila no need to put her down come to find out she has diabetes from mostly from breed and she does have chronic kidney failure but that's stable for now just waiting ✋️ on the diabetes levels to see 👀 what's the medication 💊 will be I was so happy 😊 with happy tears 😹 she started to eat late last night 🌙 which was Wednesday by giving her food she really likes and it works 💪 so, so far I'm relieved 😌

@SofiaSeesBeauty thanks Sofia so far she's home 🏡 stable now just waiting on her test results for diabetes due to her kidneys but she needs to try to get some weight 😉 and muscle mass on her but they said it's probably the diabetes or kidneys disease which I already knew but time will tell it's in her breed otherwise 😉 she's home 🏡 didn't have to put her down not yet hopefully she has a few years to go I hope she is my everything to me she helps me with depression and she's always by my side we've only had her for about 3yrs now or almost we got her in September 2022 ... we think 🤔 she's about 8-9yrs old she's a blue 💙 eyes 👀 like me lynx siamese tabby ragdoll mix but mostly lynx point siamese with ragdoll mitten tabby attitude LOL 😆 🐈 she's very vocal but has a very soft low almost wild cat 🐈 cougar voice meows 😻 cute 😍 if you have email 📧 I can send you a few pictures 📸 of her and me so you have a face to recognize lol 😆 thanks 😊 🙏 so much for your support now we just need to find out the next step 🚶♀️ with her BTW! I love the Dew Drop, but good Lord, if Surratt are listening right now could they *please* make it easier to dispense? I have joint issues and it's such a struggle for me :/
I’m sorry but I wouldn’t spend over a hundred dollars for an eyeshadow palette that would break. I would be so mad if one color fell out and broke.
I wish it wasn’t so pricey. I know I know luxury. Their brushes are waaay over priced. But glad you showed them. They arent real hair I know they are soft But eek. Ok. Give me your lashes now 😂😂😂 they have good products. It’s hard to get isn’t it. Wait $54 for mascara ??? 😮😮 ha ha
I don't think the brand is worth it... I'd rather buy Chanel!
