Okay, I'm in. I've been an old school F1 fan for a very long time, but I love your ethos and your scrappy spirit. My in laws live in Brooklyn, so I'll be taking my wife and kids there to see their first e race in July, covid permitting. Can't wait to see you there.

I keep trying to get into Formula E, but keep finding it hard to find. I think your videos would benefit massively from text/graphics overlay. Two simple examples in this video: 1) show driver’s name and maybe a flag of where they are from; this helps us to get it AND the automatically creates fans when they are from the same country.
2) Another thing is to show the team’s name and logo. Again, it helps things become more and more familiar so new fans can more easily move past trying to figure out who everyone is and move towards appreciating everything else.
Sorry for the long comment. Fórmula E is just so promising and I want to get more haha

FE can be more fun that F1 at times over the last couple of years.
Love to see the FE drivers go more flat out, than having the energy manage, like they did when the gen 2 cars first came out, before the rule change from all the red flags that happened.
Seeing the cars going flat out and the drivers racing made it more fun.

Really keen to see Bird finally snag a championship, with Evans as teammate he couldn't ask for a better wing man. Hope Jaguar are bringing the muscles cos Bird's old Envision car was pretty punchy.
Also apprehensive of the fight DS Techeetah are gonna put up for their title :/ big work for all the teams to snag points off those boys!
FE actually showed that Electric Motorsport is not that bad
With so many good drivers I am sure that this season will be quite exciting

It'd be good to find out more about the business side of FE. With all these OEMs in the series there must be some news coming through.

Formula E now is recognized by FIA as FIA Formula E World Championship. The recruitement is actually simple, you need to make race/GP in minimum 3 continents.

It's not the future without some unforeseen quantum leap in range/charging ability - far beyond what exists now. It's a vague replacement for a very small amount of vehicles in wealthy-enough countries. City cars and public transport (with limited routes) are really the only area electric vehicles make genuine sense.

I'd love for the FE cars to not have covers over their wheels, and more like the cars in F1. It would make them look way cooler. I mean, imagine the f1-2020 car with an electric engine, That would be awesome!

Eh. for me he was basically the poor mans Stroll of FE. Okayish driver with familial connections to the team who could do so much better

Why is BMW and Audi leaving?
Because they've already reached their targets and what they can take out of formula e and back to their production cars. And also because of the new class in WEC and they most likely see that as a better option

Wouldn't be too surprised if this happened. They already said they were looking into joining FE, and with Audi and BMW pulling the plug after the season, there are two team slots available. Also, McLaren have signed an option for joining in 22 as well. With the budget cap coming into force in F1, the bigger teams need something to do with their excessive personnel and FE just seems to be the thing atm.
McLaren is already pretty likely to go in in 2022, so maybe Red Bull and McLaren to replace Audi and BMW? I could see it...
If anything, I can see Honda joining and forming some sort of partnership with Red Bull in FE

No, EQ is Mercedes' name for electric models.
Why in formula-e all cars are exactly the same?
Teams can develop the power trains so, not the exact same just similar. It’s to focus development on the actual technology that can be used in road cars instead of pointless bits of front wing or side pod development I believe

@@moisesmaciel5123 the point of Formula E is to show off and develop the capabilities of electric car technology, the teams are only allowed to develop the power train so that, in order to beat their rivals in track (and thereby make more money, which is what they will care about most), they need to make advancements that can then be transferred into the road cars

Mercedes will be 2nd in the teams' championship *at worst*. They dominate F1 and they have the chances of dominating FE as well.
I wanna see 'em competing on real racetracks like Spa or Monza. The caged tracks are ugly.
I'd love to see this class move away from beeing pure spec, and move into every team having their own car. Drives innovation and such, would be good for production E cars aswell.
