Lauren Graham Broke Her Wrist 'Skiing'

- Actress Lauren Graham recently broke her wrist while on vacation, but admitted to Ellen that she's been lying about her "ski" injury. Plus, Lauren reveals how Bette Midler made her cry, and talks about her new book, "In Conclusion, Don't Worry About It."
All I could think about as she was describing how the injury happened was...Gilmore Girls.
They're at Luke's. Lorelai's telling the story to Rory. Babette and Miss Patty are at the next table saying, "oh you poor dear" and Luke is bringing her vegetables and protein to help her heal.. Kirk would say he had a similar accident and ended up with more hardware than that and most of it in his head. Luke would (without missing a beat) say something about Kirk' having metal in his head and then Taylor would chime in about wanting to hold a fundraiser (to fix the sidewalk where Lorelai fell) and then get into an argument with Luke about his participation in the town....

Hahahaha!!! And then Jess would come through the door wanting to badger Luke, so he decides to play off Taylor to be more present in Stars Hollow. Then Dean walks in wanting coffee and gets jealous that Jess is in the same room as Rory and tries his hardest to act "tough", and Rory says 'don't do it' and then, of course, they fight. Rory yells at them to stop, but waits around doing nothing physically to separate them, and Luke grabs Jess to calm him down and Patty and Babette remembers this looking like a play they did years ago on Broadway. LOL

I just finished watching Gil more girls for the second time when it finished i cried my one dream would be to meet Lauren Graham.
this book is a great inspiration for young people coming out of school but also for overly concerned adults. it helps to put things into perspective in a world that forces us to keep our heads in the handlebars

Lauren, I'm the same way. I fall A LOT for no reason. A month ago I caught my toe on a rug and broke it. How that's even possible, I don't know. But it's the second time I did it.

Sitting here with exactly the same injury and same operation also after just falling down stupidly :D
Actually that is the most secure way to heal it because we are usually using our wrists a lot so just by healing on it's own it would still be fragile and prone to being fractured again. They don't dissolve, the screws need to stay in, that's why they are made form titanium.
