Just watched this using RUclips VR in 8K on my Quest 3. Looks great! Thanks for the comparison, also: 5.7k wasn't just blurry, but the stitch lines were terrible back then. My only comment would be (for me) not to use the swirl method to change clips, since 360 for me pushes my nausea tolerance and that just makes it worse. I prefer the camera to be still (or slow, steady motion), and the significant motion comes from the objects filmed, and user head motion. But I'm much older.

Nice video, but why its shaking slightly?
Video quality is still the only factor that's preventing me from buying any 360 camera. Even though we can capture so much of our precious trips, the quality simply doesn't cut it.

You tried it with highest resolution setting in YT, not automatic? It depends for what you are using it. For my private sport activities I'm still happy with my X3 and new lense guards.
just use 8k 4320s noch 1080p ... 😗
@@saschaquagmire1498 even with the quality set to 8k, the clarity doesn't really cut it
did you use sharpening and denoising in Premiere Pro? I tried using those setting in my 360 videos as well.

Very bad video quality. I don't want to watch this at all. 360 degree video will only be acceptable when they make the resolution 24K

Are you on a computer? Go full screen in 8k. With the mouse wheel, zoom out. Then reduce back down to a window.

Thank you, it got worse. Geometric distortions were added to the disgusting image quality.
I watched a 16k video here, but it was not much better. And there are many reasons for this.
1. Geometric distortions of optics
2. Low bitrate. I see compression artifacts
3. Low resolution.
Human visual acuity is 60 pixels per degree. We have 360, which means 360 * 60 = 21600 should be the resolution of the horizontal line.
Conventional cameras shoot about 90 ° FOV with 3840 pixels in a horizontal line, but they usually watch on screens that do not give the required 64 degrees (they do not keep the distance by greatly increasing). Without going into details, they always see their 60 pixels per degree, even with a reserve
When viewing 8K360, only part of the frame is displayed here. It's hard to say which one, but the resolution is clearly not enough to display it well.

Why at one side, where stitching line is there some fog effect?
I think there may have been a smudge on the lens in one or two shots
