- This was one of the coldest Oliebollenraces ever and with the highest turn out of cars! Here's my video from the final races of the 2022 ASE Banger Racing season. Enjoy!
What is Banger Racing?
Banger racing is a tarmac, dirt, shale and chalk track type of motorsport event popular in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Old scrap vehicles are raced against one another, with the winner being the first to the checkered flag after a set number of laps. Contact to damage an opponent's car is permitted and encouraged within the formula, with cars progressively becoming more damaged throughout an event. Races are held at an oval or tri-oval circuits that are up to 1⁄4 mile (440 yd; 400 m) long; however, on certain occasions, races are held in a figure of eight configurations. Banger racing is often confused with stock car racing, although there are differences between the two, despite often racing at the same tracks. Banger racing is also often confused with Nascar.

Bent u van plan om volgend jaar andere disciplines van autosport te filmen of blijft het bij autocross/banger races
@@hondacivic-uo8ne het zal grotendeels bij autorodeo en bangers blijven. Levert helaas niet genoeg op om deels te stoppen met werken en in ruil elk weekend een wedstrijd af te gaan. Dat zou wel het ultieme doel zijn trouwens.
@@AutorodeoNederland nog een vraag, vaak bij banger wedstrijden in Emmen rijden vaak ook stockcar f1’s mee en andere klasses ga jij die ook filmen of blijft het echt bij unlimited bangers?

Are there any rules in Dutch banger racing other than turn up, smash the shit out of cars and try not to break a leg or both legs in the process?
It is absolutely brilliant! I know I've said this a few times in your videos but, it really is wilder than the UK banger racing scene.
Rules are the same as in the uk. Only difference is turning around is only allowed at then end of the dd.

In de bocht aan de andere kant van de hoofdingang hadden ze een keetje met een elektrisch kacheltje.
daar ben ik tussentijds tussen de manches door snel even naar binnen gedoken.
Dat was trouwens ook tegelijk een zuipkeet😄
@@opoxious1592 haha, dat wist ik niet! Ik heb mijn laarzen voor de uitlaat van de aggregraat gehouden op het middenterrein. Voelde de tenen ook niet meer en dit werkte super!

I do have to ask a few things about this video.
What are the first three cars you show, number three I am stumped about it for the body mods done to it?
The first is a last 50's chevy, and number two is a 58 chevy impala.
What size track is this, I know the state side is do 1/3 mile, 1/2 mile, 3/8 mile, and such.
What do they race besides banger stuff? What does the rest of the track look like since we seem to only get that one turn in your videos? I know I am asking way to much crap and might hate some of the stuff I ask by now over your videos.
Hi Jason the white one is a 56 chevy bel air. The blue one is a 58 ford fairlane i guess and the yellow and blue one is a chevy caprice which has been used in a movie.
The track is 400 meters long. They race f1, f2, f2 junior and saloon stockcars as well. Both turns are in my video. The other turn is a bit worse in quality when you watch the video.

@jason walters i want to know which movie as well but couldn't find anything so i guess it was a low budget movie here in the Netherlands or maybe Germany.

Had hem bij 111 Jens Peetermans inzitten maar die had helaas veel pech. Toch zit er wel mooi beeld bij!

This has become a pointless sport.I was watching bangers in the 1980,s.The front ends now are so reinforced all that happens is the back ends getting jacked up.Pointless.
