- After nearly 2 years it was finally time for some Unlimited Banger Racing at Speedway Emmen again! The drivers were all up for a good crash as there won't be a 2021 championship for the bangers at Speedway Emmen. With some brutal follow ins and devastating jack ups it was a very enjoyable day! Enjoy the video!

What is Banger Racing?
Banger racing is a tarmac, dirt, shale and chalk track type of motorsport event popular in countries such as the United Kingdom, Ireland, Belgium and the Netherlands. Old scrap vehicles are raced against one another, with the winner being the first to the checkered flag after a set number of laps. Contact to damage an opponent's car is permitted and encouraged within the formula, with cars progressively becoming more damaged throughout an event. Races are held at an oval or tri-oval circuits that are up to 1⁄4 mile (440 yd; 400 m) long; however, on certain occasions, races are held in a figure of eight configurations. Banger racing is often confused with stock car racing, although there are differences between the two, despite often racing at the same tracks. Banger racing is also often confused with Nascar.

Mooie video weer! Mooi te zien hoe de kwaliteit van je video's de laatste jaren flink is toegenomen. Leuk nu ook de info over de rijders en de verschillende prijzen die er gewonnen zijn te horen die je erbij verteld. Normaal heb je hier niet super veel inzicht in als publiek van de race Dit maakt de video's extra leuk om naar te kijken, echt een goede toegevoegde waarde!!. Ook fijn de opdeling per Heat! It shows how well the safety cage does it's job when you see the shape of some of the cars! As an ex Banger driver, I can say that a good cage is really important!

I being a US subscriber, I have to say, I love Banger racing. I generally watch it on RUclips daily. I would like to see banger racing in the US but I’m not sure American racers would be as courteous as you Euros seem to be after you drivers obliterate each other’s wheels . Keep up the great videos.

@@AutorodeoNederland That's the hard part for us Americans to understand. We have similar races called enduros. 100 lap races with 50+ cars and it's only red flagged for safety situations. But generally everyone races.
We have straight up demolition derbies for the smashing.
But I love this Banger Racing. It would never fly over here. Thanks for sharing all your content and helping us understand this motorsport.
