The nature of men is wicked and evil...therefore we must concentrate power in the hands of the very few? He spoke of angels and men, are we to assume the judiciary is comprised of angels here? What gives?

In Madison's version of government, the larger it was, the more factions found therein, which would naturally check the power of each other, ensuring cooperation, even if somewhat rocky, to keep them balanced, so that no one branch (or faction) would rule over the others with impunity.
