I'm British and I don't support the British claim on Antarctica. That said I don't recognize anyone else's claim either- Antarctica should in my view not be owned by anyone, though all countries should be free to conduct scientific research there. As for the matter of the Falkland-Malvinas islands, I think the right solution is to negotiate a deal that solves the issue fairly for all parties (Britons, Argentines and islanders). Some kind of division of the islands would be fairest. Argentina should have most of the land and oil (which I don't care about), but Britain should keep the areas with high population density like Stanley (because the islanders want to remain British, so keeping as many of them on British soil is a must). A soft border agreement like the UK-Ireland one would protect the livelihood of the islanders, and allow them to relocate to British areas if they wanted more easily. Additionally, the whole islands should be demilitarised. What do you think?

@@CaseyKCRichards you know its moments like this that i love. I am Irish and a badly lapsed Catholic from Fermanagh in the North of Ireland who has two relatives that were in PIRA, one of them actually doing 10 years in the Kesh. And if nobody likes the English then enough of us Irish along with other nations, couldnt wait and as a matter of fact today, can wait to get there and live. Ciao

No one is crying, sooner or later they will return to Argentina ( like you return Honk Kong)
With Argentina economically so bad, plus every time your leaders can’t sort out its economy, they divert the subject to Falkland Island. A little history here Hong Kong was leased by China to Great Britain in 1898 for 99 years.
