Caitlin Nic Gabhann - Concertina and Irish dance

Tried out the 'Acapella' app to see if I could dance and play at the same time! I think it's built for singers. Was a little tricky hearing the concertina while I was dancing. It's fun (and strange) dancing along to my own music! Recorded while on tour in Germany, March 2016.

Could you please tell me, is it an improvisation dance you're doing? Because while watching your Belfast hornpipe I made a conclusion it has been choreographed beforehand, and here I can't say that for sure :) Thank you in advance for your reply :)

It is indeed an improvised dance here. The Belfast Hornpipe started out as an improvised dance but as I dance it a lot, I tend to do the same steps. So it has become less improvised. Thanks for messaging! Caitlin
