no-one seems to notice Balde's mistakes? Szczesny is not alone in this - Balde fault is the same if not greater. When goalkeeper shouts "mine" then players should move out of the way. Quite clearly there was some sort of communication problem between defenders and Szczesny. If Balde moved away everyone would be praising this Szczesny action as one of the greatest goalkeeping interventions ever.
These types of games is what attracts new audiences to futbol, these crazys, erratic, makes-no-sense sort of games really shows you how exciting and unexpected futbol can be and that's what makes the Champions League stand out. What was most impressive was Barcas mentality of never giving up, even when 4-2 down, absolutely crazy game!

Everyone talks about Raphinha scoring the winning goal as if he had the ball on a silver plate waiting for him to just kick it in. Ferran Torres made perhaps the best pass of the season considering the value and importance of that winning goal. Tremendous reaction at the time to have that vision and I hope that his playing career continues to climb.

What are you guys on about… I’m a Barca Fan and I think that was shockingly shite from us. We really only scored one good outfield, team-based goal and that was the one from Eric. And let’s not even talk about our defensive errors. We have more to be concerned about than to be celebrating for that performance.

But that passion and drive isn't always there i.e Las Palmas, Leganes, Celta Vigo... heck even saturdays 1-1 vs Getafe we didn't look like we wanted to win the game for most of the game. As a true Barca fan you must take this win with Caution rather than celebration is all i'm saying.
As far as Barca Defense, all they usually need to do is hold teams to 1-2 goals and they win. Right now, they lost their starting CB Inigo, and while Araujo is world class, the offsides defense takes a lot of practice and coordination. Araujo will get the timing soon enough.
Honestly I don't think Szczesny is unfit or not match sharp, he has never been a sweeper keeper or good on the ball, and for this type of back line you need a goalkeeper who's good at both. I think the high defensive line messed up his judgement at crucial times, I also don't think there was much in that Benfica penalty, collisions like that with the goalkeeper happens in every football match I don't know what was different this time.
