Kramer worked for Travis Bean who pioneered the Aluminum neck guitars. That's why when Kramer first went out on his own he was making Aluminum neck guitars. Travis Bean made Aluminum neck guitars for Jerry Garcia and he used them primarily in '76.
I bought one those blue floral Ibanez Jems earlier this year. I usually prefer finishes that show the wood, but this one really spoke to me, and it plays and sounds beautifully.
@@aflashfloodofgear Alex you are very welcome. Thanks for replying to my email this afternoon about the Chorus pedal. I’m interested in a screamer or something to play classic rock as well. I’ll touch base early next week. Enjoy your weekend!!
It’s really cool getting to see all the different aspects of acquisition through your videos. Well-documented and edited! I also have to add, I looked through the basses on your website, and I have to say, that Fender MIJ fretless jazz caught my eye immediately, especially since it was made the year I was born. I’m selfishly hoping it doesn’t get acquired by someone else before I build up the funds for it! Lol
I’d love to see a few more basses! Ik you understand the biz waaaaaay better than someone like myself and I love the guitar content too! But how sick would it be if yall highlighted a few 60’s fender basses or some more one off’s from the 70’s/80’s - regardless yall are rad and your site is very easy to navigate yall earned my sub 100% cheers!
We are happy to show basses whenever we find them! This specific collection just happened to be all guitars. We actually just released a few videos about our favorite bass guitars under $500 and $1000 on the channel in the last few months, we’d love to do some focusing on vintage basses whenever the opportunity arises!
@@aflashfloodofgearyou better believe I checked that video out and it actually helped me pick out my newest bass. Y’all are what the RUclips music community needs - more FAIR opinions - not sponsored bias content
@@aflashfloodofgear I don't blame you, market getting flat unless your old and have a pocket full of cash, Lots of old guitars are popping up for sale, I bought a couple this year to play 68j-50 church played.
Ok so I had six guitars and my wife said that you can’t play all of them 🎸 So I sold my USA 2012 Sunburst HSS Stratocaster 🎸 and I sold my 2009 Gibson USA Firebird Sunburst🎸and I sold my Martin Backpacker 🎸 leaving me with a 2017 USA Sonic Blue Stratocaster 🎸 and a 1967 USA Gibson ES 330 TD 🎸 And a 2011 60th anniversary USA Fender Telecaster 🎸 so I found a Traveler Speedster guitar on EBay for $190 and bought it, well it never showed up and the mailman handed me a piece of paper shipping label and then clicked on delivered for tracking. So no guitar no box no item at all. After appealing for a refund I was finally refunded from EBay. So I now found a Traveler Ultra Light Guitar on EBay for $220 and bought it and it was delivered to me 🎸 so now up to 4 guitars 🎸! I would be in guitar heaven 🎸🎸🎸if I could get 18 guitars at one time ! Keep on Rockin 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸Peace Spike 🎸🎸🎸

This channel has become a favorite in recent months!!
And repairs are awesome to see a skilled person doing work
I’d like to see the life- cycle of a guitar or two. Pair up the fresh find with the clean/ setup, then the sale.
Awesome video guys, so that's where my White Lightning Explorer came from. Cool!
Yes!! This is the one! Always cool to see these guitars get great new homes
I really enjoyed this one for some reason. And, I would definitely like to see another "Day In The Life" video.
We'll make it happen soon 🫡
The Schecters and Kramer ‘84 look so cool! I know Schecter in particular is known as the Monster energy Kyle brand, but I hear they make great stuff!
Mmmm the hollowbody and that black and blue Jem ! Wow

Does he sale guitars for a living?..why would you need so many?
Just a collector originally from LA with some connections 🤷♂️
