@7:26 I love that Ibanez!!! I couldve bought one just recently extremely cheap but I was minutes too late. Guy needed money and The pawn shops in Florida don't give much. Someone just got to him before I did. 300 bucks was a steal!! Don't think I will have that chance again.

Buying guitars in Japan,is "a dream", you see Japanese Fenders,you can't imagine that those were build(only for domestic market?)

I love Terada's(their highend guitars overclass the quality of the ones they made for Gibson (Orville by Gibson),Epiphone Elitist,Gretsch and Guild.
For sure! Definitely familiar with a lot of the Japanese manufactured guitars. We'll be going back as soon as possible and be on the lookout for even more stuff on the next trip!
The one guitar i want is a white univox hi flier but ill never afford that anyway awesome!!
I think Eastwood makes a Updated reissue on that.

I went to a lot of guitar shows in the 90's and the Japanese were buying all the guitars. I wonder if you guys managed to bring back some of those instruments.

I wonder how much all of these costs and the shipment to the US.
Get ahead a little with the US dollar being stronger over there currently, but shipping is as expensive as ever unfortunately
How do you make a Profit when you factor in the Exchange rate , Shipping cost and Import Taxes ?
Good question! The US dollar is stronger than the Yen currently, so that's a big factor. Large shipments also help spread the cost out across several items.

Haha glad you're still around. While we went to a lot of different shops, you'd be surprised to hear that it was mostly "normal" brands. We're gonna have to go back and specifically search out some out of the norm stuff

So I combed into your channel and indeed you were the very same favourite guitar appraiser of ours. BTW I really appreciate you are cool with the banter, taking it in stride with good humour. Also, I noticed you redid the title to your Magnum Opus, which says a lot about you in my opinion at least. You're alright, man. And, besides, Guitar Shop Owner sounds a lot cooler. There are a few that got packed that might not have made it on camera. Generally though it's just kinda tough to get those shipped back in one piece :o

This was back in February. Since April (?) they've lifted just about all restrictions. Was actually just there last week and all was like normal!
