Wow! This is very informative. Thank you so much for this video. I'm a student teacher doing his 3rd year. Our goal is to educate learners and produce good citizens who will boost the economy of this country and move this country forward. Workshops are important to attend as a teacher.

Thank you very Much! The video is not only informative but motivating us as aspiring teachers, clearing our focus and our view on policy documents to see them as strategies for pedagogy, this is inspiring. Thank you once more!😊😊😊

Very informative. Are there any new developments regarding to move forward to goal orientated teaching vs. content?

If CAPS is not a curriculum but just a policy statement, what is the new curriculum then? I think I got lost there.

Great video. What I find most shocking in the 21st Century is that students are still graded on font, spacing etcetera when they can simply be graded for their actual intelligence and a word count can be used. Yes - I put it out here! It is TOTALLY absurd to me. How does your personality show by having cookie-cutter work? Grates me. Get an editor someday to sort that out! The whole world needs to change. Seriously.
Another thing is that students still have to be assessed in one way - writing. The most intelligent student could be in your class, but you missed it because you have to follow an outdated system.
I would change endless things about education, at the school level, AND above.

In short : teaching must be passionate . Dont teach for the sake of being paid
