    Thanks for taking the time to make this video, I have been going to bahia asuncion for at least 15 years just for fishing. There are a few of us that go 3 to 4 times per year to fish with Miguel's sport fishing. His daughters have stayed with us from time to time in Orange county so we share a great friendship. I just want to plug his fishing prowess and his desire to please all his customers. I promise that if he takes you fishing you will NEVER come back empty! Once again thanks for the video.

      Wonderful! The town has grown quite a bit in some ways but is still the same in so many other ways.

    Great video, thank you. We just built a house behind the beach house and orange hotel. My son Lucas is living there now and we hope to enjoy it as a family get a way.

      Good morning! There's a couple here who have a few nets and play once in a while. They are always looking for others to play with.

      @@bajaboy29 We have quite a group playing across the peninsula at BOLA. My wife and I are going over to BA soon to check things out. Great video. I had that damn music going through my head the whole day!

      Right on! We have a few friends that live in BOLA. We used to spend a lot of time camping at Playa San Rafael. Make sure and reach out when you're in town.

    Town looks great, nice improvements at the La Playa Hotel and La Bufadora. Sad for the losses of property during the storms. Yes, I watched the seawall construction and 'shrugged a bit', but it did keep a lot of potential erosion at bay, pardon the pun. Would have lost much more property without it. Hopefully, BA will keep its quaint feel and not become a 'tourism mecca'. The town, well-maintained fishery, (especially) the people, weather, and laid-back atmosphere is the beauty of it.

      @bajaboy29  6 месяцев назад +1

      I'm not against growth or tourism done in a positive way. Our municipal president, Edith Aguilar, has made some positive improvements to the area. I'm optimistic 😀

      @@bajaboy29 I get it, and that some there rely on a certain amount of tourism, but it is a very successful co-op village with the majority of that due to their outstanding job of maintaining a healthy fishery. That it is the 'opposite' direction of most tourism that focuses on the lower SOC keeps the numbers down. And I am sure Edith. Lety, and others are doing good work as always. It is more just an 'IMO' thing, considering I have watched many once quaint villages turn 'south' and become traps full of high-priced amenities, entitled gringos, the increase of crime that soon follows the crowds, and super high priced properties, pricing many of the locals out of their own hometown. Again, just IMO and saying I hope it doesn't become like Los Cabos, Mulege, Sargento/Ventana, Loreto, Los Barilles, and others. And kudos to the vigilancia!

    You guys are raising prices in those areas and affecting the local economy for the locals, as a Mexican it's so annoying when they expect a high tip from locals or charge a high cost for local tours because they try to give me "gringo prices" it's a major problem affecting ALL of Mexico. You guys always come here and mess things up an drive up prices. Many locals are already fed up with this and getting cartels involved to get you guys to leave.
