Notice the lack of side mirrors? Also, F6 is to turn on and off the ditchlights. There is a lot of light bleed, so the headlights LED bleeds through the ditchlights if they're off.
@Connor Witengier. Yes I would snatch a few more up before they're gone. Most NJT trains are 6-8 cars, with some Northeast Corridor cars being 10 car consists. Please let Atlas know to produce more NJT equipment if you like this series!
I own a model of Atlas's ALP-45-DP locomotive, as well as the cars. The purpose of this locomotive is to provide commuters a one seat trip into midtown Manhattan from the New Jersey suburbs, and back. Rather than having the inconvenience of having to change trains just to get into the city. This engine has to be heavy to handle the prototypical 10 car consist.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered one of the locomotives -- the last one available from the retailer. The coaches all seem to be sold out already...
I just ordered 4532 with DCC, 3 coaches and a cab from Trainworld. There was a limited number of cars I was told from a friend of mine who works there, but according to their website, they were on sale, and shown as in stock, so see where that comes. Expensive? Yes, but well worth the investment.

Some pieces require assembly. That is part of the fun of it.
I think it might be a case of apathy ... good video.
Fantastic review, i hope Atlas one day makes some MBTA equipment.
5 years later we only get a GP40MC thats not perfect and NJT style coaches with the T paint.
Wish I had one! Love the ALP-45dp,ALP-46 and the ACS-64! Toasters are a forgotten fave (AEM-7)
