- This is the sixth Geetham we teach beginners who have completed the basic Swara Lessons like

Daatu Varisai ( • Daatu Varisai - All 3 ... )
Upper Sthayi Varisai ( • Upper Sthayi )
Lower Sthayi Varisai ( • Lower Sthayi - vocal v... )
Sapta Taala Alankars ( • Sapta Taala Alankars )
Geethams help students of Carnatic music progress to learning Sahitya (that is lyrics) along with the Geethams also introduce us to different talams
.Swarams (which are the notes). It is recommended that you always learn the Swaram before moving on to the Sahityam.
We have structured our video accordingly.
Practicing the Geetham in all 3 speeds will give command over the raga and good voice control.
Finally Varaveena has come!! Nice rendering Rajalakshmi ma'am.. Waiting for Kamalajadala soon..

Mam,let me congratulate on this awesome effort.I have a doubt. You've mentioned this Geetham is on Goddess Lakshmi.But I remember being taught this as Sarawathi Geetham as a child and all teachers in RUclips too teach this as Saraswathi Geetham.Only once I saw this referred to as on Lakshmi. Please clarify🙏🙏🙏
Varadapriya can be Lakshmi only right Also it is ranganayaki..rangararajan/varadharajan consort(wife)...the only confusion is the veena
