To be honest, I side with Cricket on this one. Sure he makes his mistakes, He's a kid, So what? Bill on the other hand is so stubborn and stuck in his old ways that every time he rejects Cricket's worldview, its like he's pushing him away. The way he tells Cricket how his ideas never pan out, While sensible in some areas, was possibly one of the worst things you could say to your own son. Its like hes telling him "You're just as stupid and worthless as the ideas you come up with and you always will be." I like Bill, I really do, his parenting is somewhat lacking. Even his own mother knew he was about to cross the line and tried to stop it.
“He’s a kid” is no excuse when the mistake almost kills the whole family. Both sides are in the wrong. Bill should have handled this moment better (even though his anger is justified) and Cricket needs to realize how dangerous his actions are sometimes.
Criket never listen to bill no matter what he say so what he’s supposed to accept all his idea withtout that he listen to him no matter how dangerous it is and most of his idea are against bill remember all the cinema he did for the family picture or when he got in head to find the best pool making his grandma and mother fight again and lefted bill in the first one and so many examples of criket when got an idea nothing els matter that it’s safety or other poeple
