finally… i have my hands on a via lattea so now I cannot just ogle your stilo e stile pens in envy when you do these pen inks combo. LOL. of course my favorite pairing was via lattea and antique aubergine. BPC really does these neutral colors well. Antique aubergine, salt marsh, ploughman’s pebble, they all look blah and then transform on the paper without the need for shimmer, sheening or shading. it’s really incredible to me.
These 5 inks together make for such a wonderful colour palette! Always appreciate the detailed descriptions you give and the zentangles are fascinating to watch.
You asked about papers -- I do all my swatching on Sanzen Tomoe River and Iroful papers (the latter is quite similar to Cosmo Air Light, and is a good replacement for it, I feel). Lately I've also been exploring Midori MD paper, and most recently Yu-Sari paper. I like the latter as it's much heavier weight than the others (90 or 95gsm iirc) but still very good for fountain pen ink properties.
I am obsessed with that Leonardo! That inspired me to save for a year to purchase the limited editions from stilo & stile - I thought you got that for FPD but maybe it was really Black Friday…. I’ve already started saving for next year!
Got a Spaccanapoli Ruffo to commemorate my son's and my trip to Naples in 2019. We went to Italy to go to the place where my father was in WWII, Cassino. Have a Monoc fine in it and took it on the trip with me.
I loved the Kunisawa paper. Very premium feel.
Thanks for sharing!

I had to double check but yes it was a Black Friday special. That was a stressful purchase!
That Leonardo is gorgeous. I drool over it every time you show it!
It was my ultimate Leonardo! 💕

I love that - how meaningful!
The zentagles! ❤ What is the name of the Michaels ruler you use? I’d like to find one. Thanks! 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻
I bought it back in 2017 and it was in the Recollections part of the planner aisle.
The Delta pen is a dream 😍
It's such a great price point for this quality of pen!
