I was at this concert and it was the first time being able to see them live and it was worth the wait. My 13 year old daughter was singing along to this and she was so happy. She didn't have a voice after the concert was done.

It's been over 15 years since they haven't had the male vocal parts, aside of some shows where Paul McCoy have made an appearance with them on stage. Amy always hated the male vocal parts bc she was forced to write them by the label, they weren't originally intented to be in the song but they had to compromise to do that bc they got threaten by the label wanting to drop them and lose their contract and debut album rights if it wasn't like they wanted since the song was presented to Daredevil movie producers and they also wanted that thing to make the band sound like female Linkin Park (since they were very big back then in 03) so yeah it was all a marketing move, a good one since that song is one of the most populars, not as much as My Immortal and others but yeah, if you didn't know that is the real story behind those male vocals, they were forced and Amy never really liked them, she wrote them but yeah once she was able to decide how to play it live, they have never had them again aside of those times where Paul McCoy has been able to go see them on tour and join them on stage and that happends bc he is friends with Amy.

@@xPaLmaaHx Paul McCoy is one of a very few people who know how to get the male part to sound right. He is now the only one allowed to even try that part during live concerts. They tried to do it once or twice without him, and every time the other person doing it SUCKED.
      Not kidding.
Also, he is indeed a friend, so he's allowed.

Dude move the fuck on haha David left 20 years ago bc he wanted to do christian music and then produce pop hits, Ben left 19 years ago bc he was an egocentric bipolar shithead who couldn't stand Amy moving on into having other boyfriends and being the real talent of the band... The only 2 original members from 95 to 03 were Amy and Ben no one else, even David was there for a couple years he mainly did programming and strings with keyboards and some backing vocals but Amy Lee always wrote each and every song on piano, the melodies, the harmonies, the lyrics. Ben wasn't even that good of a guitar player all he did was repeat 3 chords over and over Em C and D, again and again even after he left the band he still used the same formula in other pop artist like Celine Dion, Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson which is all he really accomplished afterwards, doing basic pop songs, all his other works flopped hard or even got dropped by their label.

Amy Lee carried on with HER band, and HER music, she did the whole 2nd album without anyone but her and Terry Balsamo bc the other guys (whom were hired live members at the end of 2002 when Fallen was already done) didn't want to write with her, the bassist left bc he hated tour life after Fallen tour, the drummer left on his own and only John Lecompt was fired due to him gossiping shit about Amy's marriage and him being very vocal in a negative way about The Open Door songs, they are long gone since 2006. This band you see today was born in 2007, and they have kept being togethere ever since, Tim, Troy Will and Amy have been together for over 15 years, have had THREE #1 records with The Open Door, Selftitled album and The Bitter Truth, have co-written all the songs since 2011 with Amy. They are a tight band and it shows on each and every sold out concert (in a row since 2015) they have played together, the only change they had was that Terry Balsamo couldn't longer continue the tour life due to a stroke he had and affected him for life, and hence why Jen Majura joined them but that was 7 years ago already, so move on. They are Evanescence, Amy will always be the heart of the band, but they weren't a band up until this lineup came together 15 years ago.
