As suggested I have changed the lights so that they are in the down position and it works and looks better. I will be showing this when I do the final video in this series. Thank you to all that reached out to let me know about the lights 💪🏼
I heated the mounting "clip" on the lights up, and squeezed them closed a little more. That tightened them up. I hate having to do those types of things, but it was pretty easy to do. I mounted them upside down, so they didn't interfere with the bore-line of the machine guns. I think that is how they are pictured on the Gridiron site. The only drawback of mounting them that way, is they get in the way of the window folding down.
It is a bit of overkill, but damn does GI do great work. At some point, I might pick up one of the sets. I don't think I'll go all out, but that side gun and the rear gunner platform are pretty awesome.
They do need to make it so you can piece together your own pieces and not have to get whole kit for just desired pieces. Maybe some1 want roof, roll bar and light covers and not everything that comes with those kits

Looks great. I'm not a big fan of tube doors in real life. I drive my Bronco with no doors at all. I'd rather be able to hop in and out easily.
