Whoa, whoa, whoa, buddy. Keep the struggle in the videos, and don't apologize for showing it. I came here with the same issue, not wanting to break it during installation and there's no instructions or a link to a video on the website, so people like you are my heroes ensuring I don't break my stuff. I'm struggling with the same part that you were, and I appreciated seeing that I wasn't the only one. Cheers.
I loved putting this on my super vamp. Just got it a couple days ago and well worth the wait. definitely worth the price. Definitely high-quality 3-D printing and painting. Plus the packaging was very nice.
It's been useful to see the Vamp so extensively pimped out as I've got an idea what i'll be doing with my Second Vamp later this month (when it arrives....) but the first is staying stock, I just really like it that much. Thanks for the review.
You’ve convinced me Lawrence, I made my first order with gridiron yesterday. I had to hold off on the Vamp upgrades due to the other items I ordered. I got the in a clutch upgrades but I need the other upgrades for the Vamp to properly store the upgrades for clutch I also got docs med pack and one for my falcon as well as a few of their assault rifles What I need now is for someone to 3D print the set of lights for the vamp 😆 I lost the set the goes on the lower rack for one of my Vamps. By the way I see they’re selling in secondary market for 260+ now Oh I also got multiples of the tech upgrade for a mainframe like Joe, got three of those because I like the laptop and gauntlet and load out for it Great review
@@Apunkwithtoys translation: don’t get in my comments section and lives complaining about their not shipping your order for the next two months, bro 😆. I get it Lawrence 😆 I’m prepared for the wait. You mentioned this before as have a few others I’ve seen who ordered from them recently. Funny note, my Amazon Pre Order for Doc shipped today after sending an email out that it wasn’t in stock till 9/5/24 total mess of a wave from a shipping standpoint I already got it from an individual a few weeks back good thing I only had one at Amazon that I forgot about
I bought all of the Grid Iron Vamp accessories. Pretty amazing looking when they're all installed. My only gripe is using the doors with the passenger machine gun. Oh well, it still looks bad ass.
Ok…I’ve lost count of how many kits you’ve put on this vamp….but I know you’ve run the cost up past a second vamps worth of kit….Grid Iron is killing it with this Joe vehicle. I can’t wait to see what they put together for the Ferret or the next large Joe vehicle. Great vid, Punk. You definitely show us the appeal of these adds. So it’s surprising to see this kit causing such a struggle. In end though, even that helps to show.
I had the same trouble getting the front on. All in all, I have the whole thing kitted out and I'm pretty happy with it. I did have to get my hands on another VAMP to keep one factory original.
I have heard nothing about that, but Gridiron doesn’t show things off before it’s done. They know people are waiting to see what they are gonna do and don’t want people to get the upper hand. So I think if you’re hearing that it’s something someone made up or are assuming is happening.
I didn't do the driver's side kit, because I like the asymmetric look of just the door gun. I did the rear roll cage, cab rack, and doors. I'm going to use the rear bumper and grill guard, but the gunner's seat, hood, and snorkel are getting left off. The hood is just too much for me.
@@Apunkwithtoys if the sides were sold together i might of picked them up, but the top rack was too much for me and by the time they got to the brush guard i figured id keep it more stock. I do wonder if they will sell individual parts of these sets like maybe the grill guard and light covers, would be interested if there was a create your own set type deal where you could cherry pick the pieces. but that probably wouldnt make sense for Gridiron to do.
Anybody else have trouble snapping the snorkel on? if I clip it to the windshield bar, it's slightly too far back to go over that raised spot on the hood and doesn't line up with the intake. If I get it over the raised spot and line it up with the intake, it's a couple of mm to far away to clip on the windshield bar.
It took about 3-4 weeks I think for this one, it was ordered right when he announced it. They have been really backed up and busy and that is why they have taken so long. I’m not trying to make excuses, just letting you know what I have been told. You will get your stuff, but it is taking longer than usual.
How do you even get the rope through the hook? I gave up on it. I also thought the brush guards for the lights were the one thing that just is poor quality. Falls right out and not even close to staying in.

I upgraded all the way and I think it made the VAMP look much better. I have one normal and one decked out, it has become my favorite.
Thank you again for the great, informative video! I really appreciate the tip about the light positions. Makes a lot more sense!

They make great products, but you may have to wait a little, they’re not the fastest at shipping.

Oh I think the cost is now at about a third vamp lol. Some of these just look good alone, the back bumper is really nice.

is it true that grid iron is working on a lift kit and bigger wheels/tires for the vamp?

Someone asked that question on the FB page and they said that they were working on some things like that.
@@CVLucerovery interesting. I’ll see if I can find anything out.
They've confirmed that a couple times. I'd love just a nice wheel swap. Hopefully they have options.
I really do like all the kits for the VAMP, but I feel when you add so much it takes too much away from all the detail the VAMP has.
I got a tip from 209Edd Front grill video and started to use sticky tack on the bumper grill sides so its in the tight.
Yeah sticky tack is a collectors friend, I use that shit on everything 😂
Another playlist watched and liked! All 25 videos. Good job again with your GI JOE videos.

Ah yes the upside-down lights movement!!!
Lights are hard 😂😂😂
Have you tried pixis design stuff for the vamp. He makes great stuff , I plan on buying a few of his things
GD this looks really damn good!
Stopped at the rear roll cage and the clutch loadout
Yeah, not everyone needs or wants everything. I personally think this is a little too much

How long did it take for it to ship to you? I bought stuff almost a month ago and still haven’t received

Stock Vamp suspension has been crushed with add-ons. Less is more. Like Mike told Greg: caveat emptor.

It's getting ridiculous now.
