I'm 41 and still occasionally feel judged about not having kids, although in my line of work (artist) it's probably more common to be childless. My parents have seemed to accept it though. I'm off the hook because my sister supplied the grandchild! LOL
My only child has never wanted to have children of his own. Its amazing how many of my "friends" feel free to let me know they feel sorry for me that I will never have grandchildren. Its such a personal choice and really no one's business.
So feel your comment “Where would I keep all my makeup”. It’s a struggle in NYC for space for my makeup and handbags!
- my mother in law asked when I would have a child, I told her when her son could give birth. That was the end of the child conversation!
I have 2 brothers who have kids and I think both of them would have been okay without kids even though they love their kids. My dad actually said before he died that he didn’t think I should have kids. 😂 He knew his kid!

This is your best make up, especially the eye shadows. I don’t like the current one and done orange/redddish shadows. Makes your eyes look like they have been crying or been punched. This look is much more sophisticated

You're such a refreshing breath of fresh air amidst all the YT beauty gurus!
I’m 26 (27 in October) and I either get (in regards to having children) ‘you’re young/you haven’t started in your career yet/you don’t have a partner’ or ‘you’re nearly 30/fertility will start going down/ you don’t want to be an older mother’ etc etc. It’s like women can’t win. Why does our procreation or lack thereof need to be such a big topic amongst friends, families or even strangers? It’s not like women have stopped having children full stop, I have friends younger than me you really want children, so why bug those who are undecided or against having children.

Thank you for your response about children (I asked that in the last Q&A). My husband and I are in our early 40's and just finalized the decision to not have children, after years of pressure and agonizing over people's opinion. We are both career driven and have plenty of nieces and nephews to share the love. Great story about the Snoopy gift from your ma!
Loved these Q&A’s! It’s crazy how people are so concerned about other people’s choices around procreation. I have one child and I have gotten lots of crap for not giving him a sibling 🙄 And I don’t screw around with my face either! I loved that you said that. No shade to those who use injectables but I feel like it’s kind of a slippery slope. And I have reactive skin so I would probably be the one to have a negative result. Thanks for answering my question about your knitting designs 💗

I feel the same way as you about NY. I grew up there and still miss it but could not see myself living there again. Believe it or not, I miss being near beaches there in addition to the city life.

I was born and raised in NY and none of my friends from home make a big deal out of me not having or wanting kids, even if they're parents themsselves. I've lived in a few different places - major cities, mind you - where I've definitely been made to feel that mine is a strange mindset.

I don't have children and once a neighbor of mine was so mean and said to me why are you married you don't have any children what are you barren and he said it very very meanly to put me down. I am not barren just don't have children timing was never right, love kids just did not have any and I don't make excuses any more it is no ones business! Love California if I had to pick one place to live it would be California. I live in CT Stamford/Norwalk love Greenwich CT and New Canaan but mostly for the wealthy. The part of CT I live in is right next to New York but I do have to say I love Southern CT more than New York whether it is New York City or Southern or Northern Westchester.

I work at a daycare and I like kids alot teaching them and what now helping them grow but I have no desire to have my own, I already have tons of nieces and nephews and I'm fine with that, kids are expensive from birth to 18 it cost 250,0000 to raise them. I rather be the aunt who's like let's go get dairy queen or some McDonald's and go to the zoo and have some fun then drop you off back home lmao.
