Its different alright. Karts (Racing Karts) are a lot more reactive with more direct feel so you would find this different but the racing lines wouldn't be massively different. Its more like driving a narrow car quickly :) Don't let the price put you off, it really is worth it if you haven't raced before and Mondello is an iconic track so you got to try it once!! Granted the cars are not full blown single seaters but there is an element of satisfaction sliding a single seater around on that track without spinning off (which I did but choose to exclude that in the video haha). Also, the staff there are great and the instructors really push you on.
Hey Niall just watched your video from here in Co Wicklow. First 15 seconds I could tell you were on it!! I've done that circut and I can tell you dont belong there, if you get a chance do the International circut where you can really stretch you legs. No better feeling than coming under the main staright bridge still flat out and picking your breaking spot.........if you havent done it please do and make sure you post your experience on here. How fun does this feel compared to karting? I've always wanted to do this, but the price tag put me off.
