I LOVE that wooden frame with the hanging baskets!! What a find! I would take the mirror out of the frame and make a chalkboard insert. Put it near your kitchen and use it for notes, grocery lists, etc! What a great haul.
You got some great items girl! I love the farmhouse thing with the 3 baskets and that pretty mirror. I would just get the mirror replaced if it's not too expensive. Loved the video. Now get those hands of yours warmed up!! ;) 😘❤🙏
Wow! Awesome finds! I love the cage light and the basket thingy very industrial looking, you don't really find great things like this in the UK but I get some good bits ☺️
Love your finds, and its not that they tossed it because something was really wrong with it, the brick and mortar stores have to move in new inventory and they need the shelf space. so certain things have a "shelf life" and can only sit there for so long before their forced out (and into the dumpster outside) regardless of how good a condition its in. ; )
hello beautiful . New sub here and let me tell you....you have earned yourself a faithful subscriber. you are just fabulous. I was curious if you could give us some tips on what are the best times to gone dumpster diving, times of day:year; etc... and how long have you been going dumpster diving? If you want, take a look at my channel and we can help support each other on our youtube journey. have a fabulous Sunday and keep up the great work !!!!!!!
A thought on the mirror, male a straight cut, leaving an open area. Use wallpaper, fabric or paint it to continue it's style. Attach decorative hooks in that area for scarves, necklaces etc. Or remove the mirror replace with plywood again covered with complementary paper, fabric or paint. Attach legs a beautiful coffee table, patio or garden table. Good luck, it is beautiful.
For the large mirror you could replace with board and use chalkboard paint for messages in the kitchen etc. Or just get some mirror cut which is cheap.
Omg u went to justice and grabbed these things only.....in this weather i would go look through each and every piece in that dumpster...it would be really expensive to buy all that gud stuff together....i would have bought the stuff which was a little bit destroyed and try to fix it or add some diy to it...and that jewellery was amazing man ....hats off.....i luved that jewellery...and u can turn that broken mirror into a chalkboard or photo frame....like take a piece of cardboard which fits in that frame and then make a collage of ur pics and ur family and friendz and write some moments together of u ur family and friendz.....love you soooo much😍😍😍
With that mirror I would take the glass out and use it as a photo frame and you could put a collage of photos in there. I've been looking for a old mirror/frame similar to do a photo collage for my hallway 🙂
Just go buy one of those cheap door mirrors from Walmart take the mirror out out and put in the frame they look the same size....I love the picture you pulled (lady with red umbrella) I have always loved that painting...
Get another mirror from a store cut to size and stick it over the existing one using a mirror glue. You cant use any type though, some glues will mess up the coating.
u could use that big mirror for a coffee table top and modgepoge (idk if I am spelling that right )pictures all over that would cover the split idk just an idea I have done it with endtables before and it turned out awesome
Just like the chalkboard idea the other gal had. You can also cut a decorated cardboard and fit it in so you can pin individual pictures on it and hang on your wall. You could easily switch out to diff pics when ever you wanted. Anyway, that's what I would do. Btw love your vids xo 💜☺️
You could mosaic a design that would include the crack.I did it once with an antique mirror with the mirror flaking in some spots. just make sure ti decide if it will on the top or bottom easy peasy!!
Yes it does.I did a seashell motif and river pebbles. It all depending where you are going to put it. Good Luck. And just go for it but don't forget pictures
Heather Ruiz you should check the local laws in your area. But in most counties in my area if it doesn't have a lock, trespassing signs, or on private property it perfectly legal. The police will ask you to leave if they are called. But make sure you clean up after yourself because if not stores will lock it.
There ya go! And your mom is right one of those grabber things will help you reach. I have even seen some divers have what looks like a shovel handle with a hook to reach for bags and things
That watch is a kids fit but, I found two of those while dumpster diving and they both worked. I think the charger for it was in the dumpster you were in but you didn't grab it. Did you find out if yours worked?
Amanda Delia I've dumpster dived at justice and found 7 of those kid fit bits and they had return stickers on them and they stated it wouldn't turn on. but I took them all home and all them worked lol
Walmart has some great diving gloves cheap! They are made by wels lamont and they have a water proof and water resistant both have goat skin palms so you still have a lot of dexterity!
HI! Some answers as to why stores destroy items before they are thrown out. Loss prevention! Well, employees do steal from the places they work. I hated destroying great items with barely a blemish or dent. I found out employees and bosses would cause a tiny bit of damage to something they wanted then grab it out of the trash to take home, even before they would be put in the dumpster. I really wanted some of the things I had to destroy but understood why I had to do it even when it was hardly damaged by falling etc. So sad! The company would collect all the slightly stained clothing and donate it to charity. And after a while I fun smashing the plates, glasses, decorative items to bits with a hammer. I still so much wanted to keep some great stuff. Same trouble with food. When I was a kid working fast food I just wanted to give away the extra at the end of the day until I found out other people were hoarding foods to keep for themselves when really, they were not hungry. But very little food was ever wasted or thrown away. I don't know about Grocery store policies though. Fun to watch videos.
Bramblebee1313 I think the food places throw out should be given to shelters and the homeless. There's one doughnut shop here that does that but I don't know of any other. :(
AS FAR AS THE CŔAKED MIRROR GOES GLUE ON LITTLE WHITE SILK FLOWERS ALONG THE CRACKAND AFEW MORE ALONG IT MAKEING A SMALL DESIGN,,KEEP IT SMALL SO IT WELL BE RICH LOOKING,,GOD BLESS YOUR FAMIĹY AND YOUR SPEAÇIL WOND3RFULL FAMILY FUR BABYS,,CHERI DOW,,,,

Mirza Haider I usually don't even look in that dumpster but it's right next to another one I go to. :)

You need to get a grabber. I love watching you.
Get another mirror from a store cut to size and stick it over the existing one using a mirror glue. You cant use any type though, some glues will mess up the coating.
I would use a stencil and some window frosting or etching for bathroom windows
u could use that big mirror for a coffee table top and modgepoge (idk if I am spelling that right )pictures all over that would cover the split idk just an idea I have done it with endtables before and it turned out awesome

Soy Lopez07 oh yes!! I love this idea!
It is amazing what she finds
I think the mirror frame would be cute as a chalkboard, just use dime chalkboard paint, and hang sideways...
Do a floral arrangement over the top of the broken mirror.
Paint with black board paint.... would be great !
with the cracked mirror, put the cracks at the bottom and add a basket. You can put hats and scarfs in it.
Kelly Molette that's a good idea!
I'm so proud of her growing channel cause I am watching this only 1 year later, in this she just hit 200 sibs and now she has 31k WHAT!!
You could mosaic a design that would include the crack.I did it once with an antique mirror with the mirror flaking in some spots.
just make sure ti decide if it will on the top or bottom easy peasy!!
savannah01011 I watched a video where someone did that and it's a great idea. It looked really pretty when they were done. :)
Yes it does.I did a seashell motif and river pebbles. It all depending where you are going to put it. Good Luck. And just go for it but don't forget pictures
Dumpster Diving in Stilettos! you should sell some of that on ebay you can get a lot of money if you do that
Neysa Cruz I sell a lot of it locally. It's a really easy way to make extra money. :)
Dumpster Diving in Stilettos! ok I just wanted to tell you thanks
Wow I kinda wanna do this but terrified of going to jail wow but the things u find amazing god bless u
Heather Ruiz don't be.According to the law, anything anybody throws out is officially public domain.
*MikeWheeler IsBae* thank u
Heather Ruiz you should check the local laws in your area. But in most counties in my area if it doesn't have a lock, trespassing signs, or on private property it perfectly legal. The police will ask you to leave if they are called. But make sure you clean up after yourself because if not stores will lock it.
You could wear rubber gloves and it will help with the cold, and nastiness
Laura Wrona I just bought a pair yesterday from the Dollar Tree. :)
There ya go! And your mom is right one of those grabber things will help you reach. I have even seen some divers have what looks like a shovel handle with a hook to reach for bags and things
Slide the mirror behind s table so the broken side is at the bottom. Wish I could do this!
Kathy White I was thinking of doing that!
Best idea
New subscriber here. Question: Can you use a glass cutter and resize the broken mirrors?
I would take the mirror out back it with a light board and use chalk board paint and make a pretty chalk board on that huge mirror that is broke
That watch is a kids fit but, I found two of those while dumpster diving and they both worked. I think the charger for it was in the dumpster you were in but you didn't grab it.
Did you find out if yours worked?
Fit bit* lol
Amanda Delia I've dumpster dived at justice and found 7 of those kid fit bits and they had return stickers on them and they stated it wouldn't turn on. but I took them all home and all them worked lol
Amanda Delia you can use a normal usb charger for it
great finds. couldn't you replace the mirror?
Unwilling Vegan I'm looking into doing that. :)
you can get a gold spray paint and paint the metal and could switch up the mirror
Beauty by May that sounds cute!
Walmart has some great diving gloves cheap! They are made by wels lamont and they have a water proof and water resistant both have goat skin palms so you still have a lot of dexterity!
glue some flowers or jewells over the crack
I should dumpster dive when I grow older!!
!! What's the best day & time to go dumpster diving?😌
Emily Cutshaw definitely after store hours and you will have to watch the dumpsters in your area to know what days are better than others
put some glue on the mirror and flip it up side down and try to forget the crack 😃
You should get stuff from Justice, Hobby Lobby and GameStop and sell at EBay and Amazon, they are great sales and also give aways
that's very that people n stores throw such stuff but I m from India here there is a resale for every thing
Turn it upside down and put a plant in front! That’s what I’d do! ☺️
I found a brand new kirklands here! Isn't that one of your faves?
kat kaplan yes! That's my favorite!!
Weather doesn't stop me. I went out in the pouring rain last night
Frosty Locks me neither! In my new video it was pouring!
Put the crack nearest the floor, and tape photos over the crack. :)
walkingnarrow Great idea!!

just hang yr mirror with crack at bottom and put a table in front like a hall mirror 😊
Take the mirror out of the frame. Hang the frame on the wall and hang smaller pictures in the middle of it.
Jackie Beuten that's a cute idea :)
You could probably take the mirror to Lowes and ask if they could take out the glass and cut you a new one to fit inside the 'beautiful' frame!
You should get a go pro! Make it hands free for you!
What store is your favorite dumpster
Missing shelf?
what time do you go free finding?
africana Hi! I usually go after 9pm. I also go during the day...it really depends on if I'm already out or the weather conditions. :)
Do u ever get stuck in s dumpster and can't climb out ? They lk deep inside
No..lol
If you have an Ace Hardware store near you, they will replace any glass or mirror for you for next to nothing! Very low cost!
