Nice haul! I recently got The Dreaming Way Tarot and I love it. The artwork is so pretty. Shadowscapes is beautiful! It looks like one of those decks where you can get lost in the world, like Tarot Nuages. Tarot of the Cat People looks very cool - great find! TFS.
Ah, I just recently found 3amtarot when I was looking up a good Spring Equinox spread, and I'm a little obsessed! Hoping to check out their book some time. And Tarot for the Hard Work has gone straight onto my TBR! Thanks for sharing!
I love death doula oracle, like I just adore that deck! Finding the fool is on my book list for sure, shadowscapes is another beauty! I’m still debating witch sister Tarot however I think I just need to toss that in the cart and purchase it already. Awesome haul-age! Loads of goodies & tools!
The coffee saga was a whole moment. I’m glad it didn’t mess with the deck. I didn’t realise you were moving to Scotland. That’s exciting. I know a few folks who have moved there in recent years. Good luck with the move. Loved the selection. I feel like there’s never time for all the books I want to ingest lol. But some of these are on my wishlist too. I’d love to hear how you get on with them. Hopefully you enjoy the Cartomancy one. Gay Marseille looks like a fab deck in particular. Enjoy your new goodies. 🖤
A whole very stressful moment 😅 thanks, I’m looking forward to moving! I finally started the Cartomancy book on the train yesterday, I think I’m really going to get on with it. Too many books, too little time!
I ADORE Maria's Book! I can't wait to hear your thoughts about it. It's a great companion in a way to radical tarot! I have had my eye on the cat people tarot for a while and never saw it for less than 100s so that was an amazing find!!!
I haven't filmed a top-down video in a hot minute; this reminds me how nice they are to watch ☺ I flipped through Tarot for the Hard Work at a local tarot shop and loved what I read so far! It's on my to-read list along with Radical Tarot and Finding the Fool. What amazing hard-hitting books! Also RIP to your coffee 😂😭 I've also been curious, what camera are you using?
The Witch Sister absolutely looks like the representation of spirit or something. The people-y-ness doesn’t bother me, which is great because I don’t usually want people looking at me.
Love what you said about the evolution of tarot. We are creating the future of tarot right now in the present and how cool is that! Finding the Fool is superb! Would love to know if the tarot of the cat people book is any good :)
Aw yay I'm glad you agree! It's why I love all the radical tarot type books coming out, they're tangible evidence of how tarot is evolving. Glad to hear good things about Finding the Fool! And I can't wait to dig into Cat People, hopefully it will feature in a future video sooner rather than later 🤞🏻
Hello Love your RUclips… I am a watcher don’t really say much, but I just have to know how did you get a big box of shadow escapes tarot? Your cards look so much bigger than the ones I have from 2011.. I even bought the Czechoslovakian just to try to get the deck images larger but it really stinks because I can’t really read it and I don’t want to trim the borders off but I love the size is your deck bigger than a normal taro size? Thank you so much keep up the amazing content. Sorry you spilled your coffee, but great save! ✨😊
My copy of Shadowscapes is the same size as the other Llewellyn decks I have - I think they do an edition without the big book, I don't know if those cards are any different? Thanks for watching 🥰
Czech not Czechoslovakian, Czechoslovakia fell apart in 1993 (just a side note, I can imagine the world doesn't see much difference in it). Anyway - do you mean you can't read with it because you don't understand the titles on the cards? But it seems from your comment that you have english edition too so you could read according to that? Like making notes to the cards which card it is and then read it in your english guidebook? Or not, it's pretty much RWS clone meaning-wise. Or - if I got it wrong and you have only the Czech edition - you could translate the titles on the cards via internet and then read it like RWS plus some intuition? Sorry if I got your comment wrong and forced myself uselessly. I don't mean it bad.
Ooh quite the haul! 💜I just finished "Cartomancy in Folk Witchcraft" and *really* liked it. I started way behind but then went through fairly quickly. It is absolutely primarily focused on playing cards, though the section on mirroring in the Marseille majors is interesting. Not all the magic content is really relevant to my practice at all, but I like his overall tone and approach a lot. Nice find on Cat People!! The book is indeed OOP now; the LWB that comes with the deck now doesn't have all the same content.
Yes I have lots to keep me busy for the foreseeable! I am hoping for some quieter time next week to dig into the Cartomancy book, I've had more of a flick through and it looks very digestible. Good to know you enjoyed it! I was so thrilled about Cat People! SFF tarot world-building is a collision of special interests I am so looking forward to getting to know.
I want the Death Doula for sure. I just recently impulse bought the Iris Oracle after seeing so many people feature it in one of the tags going around, so another Oracle will have to wait for now 😅
Me too, I have a few feelings and opinions about what I would want to see from the I guess philosophy of it? With the end-of-life themes in the book. So I'll either love it or hate it, but the art and the keywords I am in love with already!

Yay for Shadowscapes! But also a lot of great additions here, wow! Hope you enjoy.
Thank you! So many goodies to play with 😍
Wow I love the book with tarot of cat people. I love finding a great find
I was so pleased to find it! 🥰
omg the cat people tarot is iconic I’m obsessed 😍 if you do it for your zodiac season daily pulls , Leo season would be incredible 🦁👏
Oh it is perfect for Leo season! Definitely using it then

There was a LOT of swearing that I cut out 😅 I have heard nothing but good things about the cartomancy book!

Yes, usually don't want my decks looking at me but I think it is going to be the exception to that rule for me too!
Excited to hear your review of death doula! interesting deck for sure
I loved seeing all of your new items. The Death Doula is an awesome deck and I love that Witch Sisters Tarot also! ❤❤❤
Yes please do second impressions. I like that as so important
I'm planning to do second impressions of both the Witch Sister and the Death Doula 🥰
I really want to get the Malefique Lenormand, would love to see you review before I buy.
That's not one I have I'm afraid!
