Loved this Imogen. I remember the days of straight up saying I would never learn TdM or Thoth, partly through being intimidated (and with TdM, also thinking they were butt ugly). It's funny how things can change. And it's through the advice and encouragement of Tarot Tube friends that I ended up digging into both (and as you know, falling head over heels for TdM).

This is the most relatable video I have seen in a while. Only you seem to have gotten over your deck intimidation, I'm still struggling with that. But seeing that you have overcome gives me hope
Hahaha thank you! I’m definitely working on it, every new deck brings a new challenge and I’m always trying to shift my mindset to be excited by that rather than daunted, but sometimes that’s easier said than done!
Tarot of the Holy Light still intimidates me. I sold my copy because it was mocking me from my bookcase all day, every day.

The Spacious Tarot is gorgeous, but it never really clicked for me. I can read with it, but it’s a mechanical reading, if that makes sense? 😅 Some of these decks/systems can definitely seem intimidating, but it’s just that much more satisfying when you get it! Lovely video!

The most intimidating decks for me are decks with more than 80 cards. 😬
I totally concur! I guess unless they’re like alternative cards for you to swap out, but also my hands aren’t big enough for decks with extra cards!
