The 5a is a great phone. After i sent an s22 back for its horrible battery, i went back to the 5a. No joke, i literally was blown away by how amazing the screen and performance was by comparison to the s22. To the point it had me wondering why pay more for an overpriced flagship? I kinda wish Pixel had this design still for the A series to keep the price low. This was peak Pixel in my opinion fot the A series. Thanks for the review!
This has always been the point of my channel. Older phones like this for the most part perform well enough for most people. Plus, the cameras still outperform newer phones. Thanks for watching!
@@Shuka07 in the s22 version I had it was the snapdragon 8 gen 1 processor but the battery and overheating was still there in it. And as far as the 5a, it’s the snapdragon 765g in it, so I’m not sure which Exynos processor you mean unless you got the s22 variant with the Exynos processor in it.
@@Shuka07 I definitely agree Exynos processors are very weak and no phone company should be using them because they are inefficient and garbage. Especially not when there are much better snapdragon and MediaTek Dimensity processors out there that are much better and efficient.
getting that phone fixed, i hope the fixer of the phone will make it work manually and i know that it has great camera and all that, it is the most great phone ever!!!
Was only saying the other day how no one’s reviewing used phones for the average consumer, so it was great to find this channel. Great reviews pulling out the practical things you need to know, aimed at everyday people who don’t want to spend loads. Very refreshing. Cheers Ash, keep it up 👏 Subscribed.
Thank you I appreciate that! That's been my goal from day one. I reckon around 90% of people don't NEED all the bells and whistles, and there's so many great phones about that won't cost you a fortune! Cheers!

It looks like Google bricked mine as soon as my warranty was up.
no mention of battery life?
The 5a is bets value for dollar .
Dont look at that phone 999x times like its slipping off any second 😂
Wanna buy a used phn, wht do u say?
Expect 4 to 6 hours of use before charging.
@danprosak most new phones are around 4 to 6 hours of battery life 😂
Hopefully yours doesn't decide to brick itself for no reason
It didn't when I had it, have used a few other older Pixels since then (typing this on 7 Pro) and all have ben great 😃
