I went through all the hardships and saw so many dead bodies and unnecessary sacrifices that could've been avoided. But I still miss my youth when I could make it through the jungle and return home safe. It truly feels strange to be growing older. Even the nightmares from the battlefields can be sugarcoated and look so shiny. For all the young people, don't waste even a single moment of the shiniest part of your life!
