I have two of these which I call version one and version two. Version one came with an ABR-1 tune-o-matic and a cream switch tip. Version two, like yours, came with a Nashville tune-o-matic and a black switch tip. I remember I had a tech wire the pickups on the version one so I got hum canceling on the middle position. I forget if the version two has this or not. They are great guitars.

At least now you can get the original style special without the custom shop price tag.
True! I really like the looks of the new(2019+) Special with the wraparound, but I haven’t played one yet.
S's and Gs! Too funny. Not an SG guy, but if I were to get one it would be one like that
🤣 Cheers!
@CompanyGripGuitar hope the knee is improving too. I see you still settings so keep babying it bud.
It’s getting there. Doing some injection behind the knee on Monday. 😬
Thanks for the well wishes! Cheers!
I have a 2005 SG standard. I’m probably gonna toss p90’s in it since i have 4 SG’s now
You gonna do some P94s or Mojotones or something, or the full route-out job and proper P90s?
@@CompanyGripGuitar i would remove wood. If I’m going p90, I’m going all in
If I could post Gifs, I’d post the nodding/approving Robert Redford gif from “Jeremiah Johnson.” 🤣
