EXTREMELY LOW ON OIL! Dover Impulse-Parking Structure-Sacramento, CA

- It's been quite a long time since I posted a video from Sacramento! Anyways, I had to post this. We had no idea we were in for such a wild ride when we stepped onto this thing. This elevator is the worst I've been on when it comes to oil level. When I first started RUclips, I posted a video of this elevator. At the time it was broken, in fact, it's been broken since 2009 and they just got it working last year. They obviously aren't maintaining it. I reported the problem after the video. This elevator is now fixed. Aside from the oil problem, this elevator is actually in pretty good condition fixture wise. This has to be the first time I've seen a hospital sized elevator in a parking structure. (Please excuse our language and my reaction)

Aside from that, it has an epic motor and the chirp! I think DieselDucy filmed an Impulse at some parking garage in Roanoke that was even worse than this.
Never have I seen an elevator this low on oil! The Microtel Inn & Suites in Indianapolis, Indiana has an Otis Series 5, and every time it went up to the 3rd floor, it made a vibrating noise.

There is a dover custom impulse in the court house where I live that I got stuck in after the pump burned out from low oil it soumded like a clogged vaccum hose then u heard something like a wet car fan belt and then pffm they pump was dead :/
Judging by the vibration sound from when it took off, if I was on that elevator, I’d have instant suspicion and press 2 as fast as possible. But it’s funny how bad this struggled! 🤣

That's just creaky. Impulses don't use relays for anything other than power switching. You might also be hearing things moving in the shaft.

I think they should put more oil in. And replace the indicator bulbs. But don’t change anything else.
