Walking in Volendam at Dusk ⛵ | The Netherlands - 4K60

This Historic village is located by Lake Markermeer, and once had direct access to the North Sea via the Zuider Zee. Because of the good location by the water, many fishermen settled in the village. In comparison to other areas of North Holland, Volendam records many Catholic residents, which is quite rare in the North Holland province. It's a unique village not just because of their beliefs, but because of their typical costumes and their own dialect, the Volendams.

Such a good place, the whole video shows a very peaceful place and What a good surprise your exploration at 7:16
One day you could fall like around 22:38 I thought you like to put add some suspense to your videos 😮😄
I saw very few tourists there, I imagined that some of those businesses are inherited among families and again I wanted to be a nederlander to live there ...

Used to be the sea (Zuiderzee) but after the damming of the Zuiderzee and the creation of Flevoland it turned into a lake :)
