Do you have any tips to help us distinguish between a pullback on a trend and a reversal? Im looking at the GU yesterday and at the numbers in the timing window we had an engulfment but it turned out to be just a pullback ?

@@TheAnonymous00 Yes, 1st tip is that the Best time to trade gold is from NY session 9:30am - 11am Eastern Standard time! 2nd tip is to know what the Average Daily range is for Gold and never trade past the Average Daily range! 3rd tip is to trade only when the current price is at or near the Daily high or low or the previous daily high or low, for the breakout continuation or the stop hunt reversal off the high or low! And also drawing horizontal lines on the round numbers which is 50's and 00's to act as support and resistance levels which will help you to know where your take profit should be, because Gold sometimes likes to bounce off the round numbers, though it may not completely reverse from the bounce, but it may bounce off a round number for like 25 to 50 pips as a pullback before resuming the trend! And the last tip i would give is to use the 15 min time frame as your trend chart and use the 5 min time frame as you entry chart, but you could use the 15 min chart as your entry chart too! i learned all this from Stacey Burke's videos! Thank U so much for all this invaluable info you’re providing to us! A few quick questions, you trade on the M15 TF, but do you look at the daily and weekly TFs also to determine the overall trend? Do you have an indicator that shows the weekly highs and lows or just the week immediately preceding the current week? Lastly, with the sweet spots indicator, what settings works for Gold and indices so that there aren’t a million lines on the screen ? Thanks again! You rock!
Hi Bella, thanks for the feedback! I look at the daily charts for highs and lows as well as any gaps. I use the same settings on gold on the sweetspots indicator. 100, 100, 250. I manually mark up my daily charts.

I'm so glad to have found your channel after a recommendation from my friend. He said I was doing something similar and thought Id like your content, turns out you do and do it much better lol! I also watch ICT I don't know if you know him, but anyway one part that messes with my brain a little is the day open and close. I like to use 12 am personally, I wouldn't think it would matter as long as I properly draw in the highs and lows from the previous session. Is there any reason u stick to specific times for your Daily Open/Close? Thanks for the content I really enjoy it!
Hi Ox, thanks for your message. I use New York close charts and look at the 24 hour cycle as starting in Asia and ending in New York. My daily charts reflect these times and open and close prices. The day starts in Asia and ends in NY. I appreciate your feedback.

Hi Stacey Burke, thank you for this video, I have a question, if i may ask. Is the 9:30pm equity time Est as important as the 9:30am NYSE equity time? Also is 11pm Est as important as 11am London close est? London close and 9:30am usually do a pullback, but what would make 9:30pm and 11pm Est do a pullback or be a time to watch out for? Hello Stacey, Are peak formations M’s and W’s and V tops and V bottoms at the high or low of the day??
Another question for you.
Is the middle structure the middle of the M’s and W’s?
Yes middle structure is the first level you need for your M or W. You won;t always see them on the 15 minute, you may have a 3 bar reversal, sometimes a 2 bar reversal on the 15 minute but you will see the M or W or three push peaks on a shorter timeframe. ie 1 min or 5 minute.

Hi Pips, London and NY it's the middle hour. Asia obviously is trading but I trade that session the same, either a stop hunt off the open and trade second hour, or a stop hunt in the pre-market and trade at the open of the 12 candle window.

Hi Stacy new around here i just have a quick question about the continuation, reversal or ranging market, how do we know which one is occuring do we look at the candles like wick rejections and double bottoms etc. Sorry new around here and still trying to make sense of it all. Regards
I’m curious for the responses as well! But what works for me is doing everything the same way. 1st we need a break out. 2nd we need a pull back. The 3rd is unknown till price confirms. (For each I’m using uptrend). I’ve noticed that with bo-pb-reversal.. you get pins up high for a move to the low of the day. Sometimes previous days low. Every scenario different.
For bo-Pb- continue: you will see price break the previous day/sessions high pull back and give pins down low followed with an engulfment.. going north
idk for breakout pullback consolidation I never really know. But I just close my trade if it’s not moving fast after the engulfment...
@@T2saucy yeah i thought that was the case, but what i have noticed is price wont always break out and pull back like today in us session gbp usd made a low then consolodated around that low making a M before going up little bit, but im still working around it and looking at charts to see how the 12 candles work
@@Sigmabuzz08 GBPUSD, broke yesterday high and stay just above the high and gave a sell enter in London... in New York it broke newyorks low from the previous day. Made a W (drop time frames to see it) then reversed... I’m not trading today or tomorrow because of US Holidays but in that case that would be breakout pull back consolidation. It spends 1.5 hours in a range not making new lows or new highs. If you were forcing trades you could have wait for a break of that consolidation period but I don’t think it would have been worth it..
@@T2saucy yeah i see that W on 5 min frame so wouldnt that be a good trade to get in even though it consoldated for a while or is it too risky. Also does the breakout pullback always happen from the previous sessions/ day and at round numbers.
@@Sigmabuzz08 if we are being honest... you would have entered and probably would have been stopped out at break even.. you won’t know if it’s gonna consolidate till it happens... and no not always the break out pull back willl always break the box it’s In then pull back.. so you gotta find the box

I stick to NY EST for my timing window. Asia, London, New York. It doesn't matter where I am at, the same timings window applies for all my trading.

I was trading mostly only gold and silver and bought in the dips and sell in the ups, it worked for a while.Then it keep falling, I keep buying lower and lower, thinking it will come up and even if I just break even on my top positions I will break even. Then this last month both those kept falling and falling far beyond expectation, it can stay there for weeks, fall more or start coming back up, but my equity ran out and I didn't want to thrown more money after it, so took the hit and sold out..lost 60% of my money, 11k. Over confidence, presumption, not taking profits early or taking losses sooner...
