When you visit garden centres or nurseries, do you look for overseeded seedling trays or potted plants with multiple plants in them? Free plants and food is such a win...🌻

No, I hadn’t thought about that, but I will now, thank you.
I had a hard time finding a thornless blackberry last year. Took most of the year to finally find one. Tomorrow I’m going to cover it with netting as it is loaded with berries that are just beginning to change colour. The birds helped themselves to many of my strawberries and so I’m determined to stop them feasting on my blackberries 😃

@@sandrasstitches yeah I feel your pain because I have been waiting for most of this year to find them 😁 I managed to get 2 pots with 4 plants in, which is awesome to get free plants!
Also glad to hear you are making plants to keep your crop protected. Birds just absolutely love berries 🌻

Where did you buy your thornless blackberry? I have the vicious thorned one and would love to replace it with a thornless.

I got mine from Hart Nursery in Cape Town. They had quite a lot in stock about 2 weeks ago 🌻
