Well "Techtonic" (it has lots of different spellings) is NOT a music style ... it is a danse style like "shuffle". In Europe it was a danse style who was popular 14-15 years ago .... what was notable is that "Techtonic" was a dance based (90%) on arms movments which was a big contrast with "shuffle" that was based (90%) on legs movements. Interesting creative mixed moves appeared and were created from those 2 different styles. Anyway both were used to danse on techno music.

When it comes to Euro trends, her Canadian Dutch father is very true to his Dutch roots and Somi actually had a interview with a Dutch newspaper years ago about her Dutch roots. When 'What You Waiting For' came out, plenty of people were accusing her of trying to Americanize her music when the entire music video was filled with references about her being biracial. I hoped with all my heart that she would go on the path of fusing K-POP with references to the Euro pop scene from the music to specific dance trends we've had and as a Dutchie myself, I'd probably sell my soul if it meant Somi were to be our entry for next year's Eurovision.
Teddy produced again like 4 songs on her new EP including this one. Her EP is a bop. This level makes me excited for what he has in garage for Blackpink's comeback. It's gonna be insane.
