Your children are so beautiful, and they are getting some fun experiences that not all kids get. You are so encouraging and positive and reaffirming! The instant that Stella was weirded out by the sand, you so gently and naturally made it no big deal. Kids today don't always get that. They often get a frustrated parent who cannot be bothered with any deviation from a small child. They trust you, and that trust will turn into self confidence and independence as they grow. Tanner did the same thing with the girls outside of your suite. You're both PRESENT with your kids, and it shows! That's why I follow you!❤❤❤

Love these people … y’all promote how to enjoy life, filled with love of children, family and friendship. even when someone is upset, you love them , you don’t seem afraid or worried,and enjoy your time together . And yer seemingly compassionate, and humble. So amazing… honestly … is this too good to be true ? What’s the catch ? Were you all really just raised so well that you know fun games, great ideas, activities and have an accepting outlook on life most alllll the time?
I'm 53 years old. We were lucky enough to live on Oahu from 1979 to 1983. I was going on 13 when we moved back to the mainland. Even now - 40 years on from when we left, our time in Hawaii was the happiest, most vivid, and most memorable part of my childhood. I still consider it my home today. I don't think we ever really leave Hawaii. I think we take Hawaii and that aloha spirit everywhere we go for the rest of our lives. But I totally understand why you would miss it so much. I don't think I ever stopped. 🥰
We are taking our first vacation to Oahu, usually we go to San Diego for the month of Feb. Minnesota Snow birds 😂 What would be the number one must see place in Oahu?
The pineapple plantation the BEST pineapple ice cream on the planet 🌍 by none. Then drive around and take all the sites in. The people are truly the kindest and sweetest people on the planet. I love Hawaii and if I could I would certainly live there and never get bored even when it’s raining. Hawaii is a beautiful and magical place and holds many fond memories for me. If you ever need a live in babysitter when you travel I hold my hands up to volunteer your children are adorable. 😊 Thank you for sharing your pre Christmas vacation with us.
I’m with you!!!…I’m from Oregon but lived all my 70s and some of my 80s on Maui. I love it there! Always have always will. It’s just so incredibly expensive! If I was young again that’s where I’d be. They do say about the islands you either love em or hate em. It’s intoxicating how much I love it over there!🌺🌸🌺
Same! Lived there from 2011-2018. Feels like my soul is still there. Used to go to Turtle Bay often. The only bad part is having to leave.

And that Lauren told Stella, its ok. Unlike when I was raising my kids, I would tel the older to give it over, which in the ling run was a major disservice to her. They are good parents and their kids are well adjusted to all their adventures

My husband served 24 yrs in the US Army and we lived in Hawaii from 1995 to 1999. It was the happiest time of my life. Our kids were 6 and 10 when we first moved there and it was just the best time for all of us. I am 56 yrs old now and my husband passed away two yrs ago. My memories of living there is still the best memories of my life!!!

Maybe you can keep your Utah home and you need to purchase a small home in Hawaii and that way when you get the urge to move there you can and when you get the urge to move back to Utah you can as well... Best of both scenarios. Maybe Derrick and Sara can share the cost of the home in Hawaii that way you all can enjoy being together and going back.
Family is important. That’s why you moved. The best thing we did was moving my Mom in with us. The kids flourished with her presence. You can always visit Hawaii!❤

But the kids will be away from their grandparents if you move back to Hawaii. I guess because I’m grandparent and the thought of not being near my grandkids just makes me sick. Not only that they have so much family and you can’t replace family. If your parents get sick you’re so far away. I don’t know I would just go back for vacations. You have such a beautiful house and the change of season. I pray God helps you with this decision and leads you down the right path. I know for me I have lost so many of my family. My mom with a heart attack Six siblings. Three with cancer three with lung heart and diabetes. My husband of 49 years heart . Four nephew 1 niece I think God that I had Time with and was there to help them at the end. Just put it n God hands. He knows best. God Bless. Your family is wonderful. I love you all

I love all 4 seasons there is always something new to do in each one and I grow up in San Diego on the beach and moved to Southern Oregon and now in Northern California

In ny opinion you have the best of both worlds- the Sun and Surf and lifelong friends you grew up with in Hawaii. And the magnificant scenery and sking and wonderful family in Utah. What you need for. Utah - family snow boards. My favorite High and such an easily accomplished adventure for kids.

Those oceanfront villas are over 1k per night, depends on season/size of villa & number of people of course. That's just an estimate

I didn't think about it- I was still in shock by all these out of my price range resorts! Until you mentioned it -
I realized the family may very well have been comped by the resort...entirely or highly discounted prices.
I mean- these families have millions of followers, they have great influence- even worldwide.
Just think, celebrities CAN afford these luxurious vacays- & yet they are the ones who get comped!!!!

Well i wouldnt say they live in the real world in terms of jobs & finaces etc.
They r kinda messy considering they do have at least part time help.
But hey they are living their best lives it seems and they are great, involved , "present" parents w happy well adjusted kids!
So guess us old peep w our perfect houses and 3-4 kids need to remember what we sacrificed for it....

They make their money off RUclips, Instagram, wherever they post plus as reads and sponsors. Most people are here for the kids, so they're the ones giving up their privacy and feeding content to pedos for this lifestyle
