Even though I'm sure that this is all part of the show, and that the person will get back in, as somebody that was number 3 in the standby line for one of the London shows last year (but who thankfully managed to get in) I can definitely relate to the excitement of those people who came in after an incorrect answer.
They are actually exiled from society forever. You will never see those people again, and good riddance to them! ✌️😂 I think other comments described it perfectly! All a bit!
He hasn't played games since the pandemic, miss the interactions with the staff and band. Guess it could be closure for him. The pandemic shows were the best. Thanks for the craziness when we really needed it, good luck returning home.
So many people are asking what the incentive is to play. James said it at the beginning: if you get it right you get a prize. Clearly commenters are the ones not paying attention.
@@mirbramo94 no no no, sorry, i should've deleted my comment. youtube refused to let me put a question mark - i could only post without punctuation. it was some glitch. so my comment sounds like i'm being passive aggressive. I was more like, the gift card was a lame prize haha. sorry
@@mirbramo94 the prize is worth risking getting kicked out of the studio? Imagine coming from Nashville and you say to yourself yeah let's risk my seat for a gift card. No way people are that stupid. On the other hand, this is America so who am I to judge...
@@MalensekLuka I said nothing about whether it is or is not worth the risk. Then again there isn’t actually a risk (except maybe looking stupid on TV) because the person isn’t really thrown out, they’re brought back and placed in another seat.
@@mirbramo94 exactly... It is fake... No real risk at all. That's why they participate. Otherwise no one in his right mind would risk it for a gift card
If not for the lure of a price, I don't think anyone would want to participate....but still look at the same past sketches.....lots of people agreed to go for it.....
Did he tell them they would win anything before they volunteered to play? I kept wondering why anyone would play a game they could only lose. The coffee certificate was a surprise to me, and really not worth losing the front seat to the show.
It's been so long, I forgot about the third question twist: it's always about the first person who was asked a question in the game.

Wish granted that this segment is back before this show is over
Unrelated but the little lamps at the end of the rows is charming.
Does that audience member really not get back in? And why are there so many people in line when they only play the game 3x?
It's called a "fake" game... Why would the audience even want to participate...
Not only are failed "WYPA" contestants thrown out, they are then put on a list and can never again attend any tv show again.
The magic of television! It’s a bit. Of course they come back in and the fake standby line gets to return to their seats too.

It’s not true. I was there and they get put back in into a different seat right after

A gift card to some arcane coffee house is a prize
@@EmpyreanLightASMR they didn’t say that ahead of time 🤦♀️

LOVE from Japan❤❤
That was so hilarious!!!!!
There’s a reason the people who get picked have so much personality they’re extras lol
WHY WOULD THE AUDIENCE WANT TO PARTICIPATE??
@Ob Good answer 👏

I’m sure it’s real. Isn’t it free to get in? So like I’m sure they wouldn’t feel as bad for kicking em out for a game they agreed to play. 😂
What do you mean free? Surely you have to buy tickets for the show?
Tickets are free. And don’t call me Shirley.
Shouldn't there be more seats James?
What's the first guest socials? I'd like to see her trilogy play

Would they really risk giving up their seat for a coffee gift certificate??

@@beenaplumber8379 Yes, they were told he'll get a gift (or prize). Not what though.
I'm convinced that just like the WWE, it is all staged.
Like me for no reason
Why would any of the audience members volunteer to play the game?
He said if u get it right u get a prize…
