Someone like the slug count outright refusing to sacrifice his daughter at the end of the Black Swordsman arc is a dead ringer. The Godhand were sure he would just do the same with his Pagan wife and sacrifice her for her debauchery towards him, but he wouldn't to the same for his daughter, and the god hand were shown to be clearly disappointed in that choice even if they acted like they didn't care. Same here, Skull knight saves guts and Casca, something they and the idea of evil never took into account, yet there it happened.
They can comment saying it doesn't matter and all that acting like they're not shook about it but you can tell them not being as ethereal as they thought themselves to be really pissed them off, especially Void, man was silent through the whole process probably trying to piece how all of it got so tits upped in the moment.
Case in point=The God Hand and Idea of Evil are full of shit and know nothing about fate, they just plant evil where they need to and claim it was "destined" to happen because "well we said so, shut up though".
So that's how they met. Darn anime never explained it.
This isn't even the first time they are meeting. They have already met some time after guts left the band of the hawk, so it was before the eclipse.
The man he saved, becomes the next user of his armor. The boy he saved bitch slaps Griffith. Thats what i call a king
This scene is so sick makes skull knight fave
“Kinda” being the operative word.
I feel like they wanted to end it brutal in 97 so that we can rip our hair out and read the manga. I know I did, and this was the only manga I ever read. They did a good job with this. Best anime of all time.
Skull Knight at one point was their Emperor when they were all human. Void was a sage that Gaiseric locked up and tortured in the tower of Albion. And then, eclipse #1 over 1,000-years ago. That was the end to a foolish kings reign.
When attacking the main boss is just an optional side quest
i wish they animate more with him. Hes SO COOL
Skull knight saved guts 3 times in 2 separate occasions
Oh this dude hates HATES the apostles.
The only person cooler than guts.
Except Femto who tests his new skill, others gods don't interfere in action of the Skull Knight. Like original version. It's little strange, Void knew the apparition of his Nemesis but didn't said to others and the destruction of flow of the causality.
The bastard was late in stopping casca from being raped. That pisses me off.
theboss 2000 well he was fighting Zodd
Why does this character called skull knight, reminds me of medieval spawn?
They are similar now that I look at it.
It's a shame he couldn't save Kentaro Miaru before he succumbed to his Aortic dissection.
Yeah "Kinda" is right. He was teeeeny tiny bit late in saving them, especially Casca who was beyond saving at that point.
He was fighting Zodd outside.
@@wb6012 I know.
They show Rosine at the end but never animated her arc!!!
Jesse Discon we need an animated lost children arc
@@zavala4148 not likely going to happen considering its children being slaughtered gruesomely in that ark
@@christophermunoz2004 Nah it's too many people being wussies, They could show things uncut like Evangelion
@@christophermunoz2004 it doesn't even show murder of 1 child. It's only dead bodies of children after killing the demons. Straight up killing children would've caused problems, but that's not the case, there's no child actually being killed.
@@DC-zi6se those wasp children are killed by guts and ones they get killed they revert back to human form but in the state they were in when they were killed. Plus the ones in the eggsacks that were undergoing the metamorphosis got burned with one the children's bodies falling on top of the little girl, Which nearly makes her lose her grip as she starts chuckling while wide eyed.
Damn it… it’s too bad they didn’t animate the rest of the show. I would have loved to have seen the Lost Children Arch… that was Rosine at the end that flew toward the screen.
“Kinda” is right
Skull Knight horse dosen't get the credit it deserves. The goat🙌
typical skull knight W
Guts cries in the English dub is just way better. Like that's what he has left to fight back with. In the Japanese one is too gutteral and sound like cries of defeat.
i prefered the english dub in the movies
This part was so epic
people always talk about Guts and Griffith, but can we also give this Gigachad some credit
this dude
> barges into eclipse
> effortlessly blocks void
> defeats several apostles
> confronts Griffith
> saves Guts and Casca
> refuses to elaborate further
> Leaves
Void looks like demonic Megamind.
I love voids voice
Skull knight is such a badass.
Notice he only bothered to attack void 😂
