At 0:53 Kevin Nealon says, "I've been silenced for, like, a half hour on stage." and then looks down and was perfectly still and silent for about 60 seconds, while I laughed at what I thought was another classic Kevin Nealon moment. Then I realized my cat had merely paused the video when he stepped on the spacebar of my keyboard.
Conan O'Brien has been a huge part of my life since I was a child. I'm 30 years old now and I remember watching him when I was very little. My older brother and I never got along but it was one thing we would sit together and laugh at the entire time. As silly as it sounds I wish that Conan O'Brien knew how much he meant to me in my personal life and how much I look forward to every single podcast.
These two are beyond "Yes and". They starts before the "Yes" even gets out. The second part of this video has them both crying 😭 because they can't stop laughing at their own genius. This is a great non interview.
I love how Conan acts surprised about the hiking show that he has been on. Watching it was one of the first times that I realized Conan had serious depth to his personality.
@@OptimusSatanas this version is true. I took Taylor's comment more generic. Yes Conan plays the absolute censor & corrects his guest & saves him/her if they're dangling over the line.
I love how Kevin started asking him interview style questions that he obviously knew the answers to (like the thing about Conan's brother) that have been discussed before on the podcast. It's a bit meta, cause that's something Conan had to do a lot on his TV show, regurgitate stuff that was public record.
It's the fact that they talking about cholesterol and blood pressure yet somehow I'm still entertained by it baffles me😂 shows how good this two are at banter lol
When I used to drive around the Midwest, I listened to Conan's podcast. I don't travel like that anymore, so I miss these shows. I really miss these shows.
I love the idea of Conan having his resume in the trunk of his car. Other people might have a spare tire, flares, bottled water, or a first aid kit. In an emergency, Conan would pull out his resume.
Watching this in July 2024 and Conan just did an episode where his Doctor gave him a 24 hr Blood Pressure Monitor. Kevin Nealon is truly a very, very wise man.
@@ctrainbeats Kevin Nealon is one of the greatest SNL alumni and is funny in everything he has done since. His ability to cower Conan in his own podcast shows how well respected he is among his peers. He is one of those "Comedian's, comedian!"
Kevin’s hikes with friends in the woods often. When he’s parallel with a hiker going the opposite direction he’ll suddenly turn to that unknown hiker and say, ‘’wow, we were just talking about you’ and he’ll just keep walking. 😂
7:47 My parents happened upon a "Rebel without a cause" location and had a similar story about a prop gun being left in a truck down the street. I have always been more impressed that they were on the set of "Rebel" than they ever were.
“Take a break we’ll be right back” is such a genius drop. I wish I was that smart and quick.
He has said it multiple times. Each time it is funny
“Take a break, we’ll be right back” always gets me 😂
It must be kinda odd for him to have 45 minutes with conan uninterrupted. 😂
Kevin Nealon has the happiest deadpan delivery. There are many who do the serious deadpan, but Nealon does it with a smile.
I don't think that deadpan means what you think it means 😉
@@Nippleless_Cage It's that Wild West TV series with Ian McShane, right?
Conan and Kevin have such good chemistry. Always gold when they get together.
It is incredible. It's just the rhythm of it all. It's music.
i think conan has chemistry with everyone.😄
Dude what are you taking about they were butting heads😂 I looks like it’s all fun and games but intense af

@@suly3243 This made me laugh out loud more! I actually tried it and paused exactly there and I have been laughing my ass of for last 30 seconds hahaa
This is like watching a passive aggressive NPR interview.
😂😂😂😂😂 OMG YES!!!!
🤣🤣🤣
Absorb the rage...
Imagine watching anything from NPR
They are very good at that.
It’s like watching a tennis match. Thank you Conan and Kevin.
Yes, it's like the comedians' version of fencing
Also, watching tennis is like watching tennis, only moreso.
This entire podcast had me DYING. Kevin is one of the best guest you have ever had, please have him back on SOON :)
He was on it before as well and it was equally hilarious

“Take a break, we’ll be right back.”
I’m using that IRL
I lost it when Kevin said "what was your dad doing in the hospital?"
These guys age like fine wine. Their understanding of comedy and incredible talent are unmatched
We need an entire footage from this episode. Hysterical!
I know, where's the footage of Kevin losing it at the end to the point of tears? Had me cracking up in the gym.
@@AimeePrause ruclips.net/video/9myNYPA3Z5Q/видео.html
I've been on a Kevin Nealon binge for the last 2 weeks. This interview came at the right time.
- Why was your dad in the hospital, what would he have?
- He's a doctor, he had a career there.
Damn he's fast
well his dad was a doctor
I mean he was just telling the truth. His dad was a doctor
@@DarkSali Yeah, but the phrasing is still comical because it alludes to "his career put him in a hospital".
Actually the credit in this joke is to Nealon as he knows Conan's dad is a scientist & he intentionally makes it absurd. Conan's just clearing it up.
I believe his dad is an MD microbiologist. A bit of a unicorn.
I think this funniest episode I've listened to. Their chemistry was awesome, it was so chaotic and silly!
Kevin bobs and weaves in a similar manner as Norm, but his chaos is more focused and more intentional. Easily the best podcast guest so far 🌟🌟🌟
Kevin and Goldblum are my two favorite Conan guests. The chemistry is mesmerizing.
The Bill Burr ones are great too lol
These two are beyond "Yes and". They starts before the "Yes" even gets out.

“When I was on The Simpons..”
“Waiting for applause.” 😂😂
That got me hard, what a good roast. Conan got wrecked
So funny!!

This was in incredible. Watching Conan being the one ground down is always a treat and Kevin is the master at it.
"How can it be cray-ons and not of-ten?" that bit made me laugh so much LMAO
Conan is being the responsible grown up in this episode. I'm not used to this
EXACTLY! Another miracle is Sona sides with Conan in saying he was the mature one on this episode.
Conan can’t help but play the straight man if he knows it will be funnier
@@taylorlconner nope.
Conan always plays the straight man for chaotic/irreverent guests.

I love Sona's reaction to this! She is almost in disbelief and appreciation for Kevin's roasts.
She's in disbelief that she's even there. And so am I.
@@ccookie7913yeah Kevin roasts are basic, Sona is laughing at him not with him
7:44 Sona with the "that's what she said" giggle 😂
Their comedy blends so well. :)
5:48 the most incredible moment out of all episodes in this podcast
he did that twice actually
I love how at 00:20 Conan actually looks back for the waiter 😂
😂😂
Favorite guest faovirite host. FINALLY KEVIN CAME BACK! The interview is so natural andpure entertainment! Improv at its best.

I was listening to this podcast while at work yesterday. I had to hold in my laughter. Tears were streaming down my face. Such great stuff.
Sona obviously thinks Kevin is hilarious because he's actually getting under Conan's skin.
Conan is in full control
He's not getting under his skin, Conan loves people giving him a hard time. He just gets flabbergasted sometimes dealing with Kevin 😂
"It's not genetic? Does it run in your family?" That with the deadpan delivery was so good.

Kevin runs this bit on Conan throughout his multi-part hiking interview, and it's amazing.

By the end of this full podcast I am literally crying, dear lord. Lmao
I can listen to the these two talk all day!

That bit from Conan about his brother reacting to people passing away was gold lol
Good lord I didn’t realize Nealon is nearly seventy years old now
Only Kevin Nealon and Jack McBrayer can get Conan unhinged and mildly unprofessional! Love it!

Honestly can't say I care much for Kevin Nealon's standup but his interviews with Conan are always gold. Great chemistry between these two.
I love how Sona laughs at everything!
While we're doing old friends, Bryan Stack would be a great guest too. He's fun on Colbert but I miss seeing him w Conan.
I wonder if Brian would be a good talker. He's a very funny man, but I don't see him telling anecdotes.
Yessss I would love to see Brian Stack on the podcast
Yes and FedEx Pope (TM)
And Andres du Bouchet (Tony the cameraman). I found some clips of him doing stand-up, pretty much bombing, and he still had me in stitches!😅
Reminds me of the Norm MacDonald podcasts. All off the cuff stuff. Both this guys are masters at witty banter.
No, Conan is, Nealon isn't really
these two together… I could listen for hours!
Between this episode and the last episode of your late night, show where Bill Hader does the Tonton impression - these are my favorite of all time
Kevin and Norm are just in a different league
It's best when Kevin is interviewing Conan
100% best tandem
