For anyone wondering, the 8 mm wide tires on the car are roughly the equivalent of a 512mm tire at 1 to 1 scale Most sports cars have tires around 275mm, but the high power ones usually don’t go above about 325mm. The 510mm in inches is around 20 inches wide Those aren’t just “super wide”, they are obnoxiously wide, and amazing.

He said he’s going to sell everything he has made in a single lot, sometime in the future. It won’t be cheap though at this rate! I would guess five figures or even six by the time he is done 💰
@@flat6gts as much as I love his work I just cannot fathom high 5 or 6 figures in USD for his work. Now if we're talking yen then sure. Selling it all in a bulk lot also limits the target customer severely, but I guess makes it easy to ship. Maybe individually sold for $500 - 1000 usd per car it would all add up over 5 or 6 figures as there are more buyers willing to buy individual pieces versus a $10000+ usd single package. Also you have to consider not all of the past customs are of this level of detail. There are many of them sure and I could guess ones like this ford gt would fetch an easy $800+, but ones like the gmc syclone will not. I'd love to see them on Ebay. Maybe a few test run customs to judge what happens. But that is a whole other headache to deal with. Especially with international shipping.
You should put the tires in the spiny machine and use sand paper on them to get rid of the center line and make them look like they have wear and tear.great build though!

I have a 1:18 scale model of a Ford GT sitting at my desk right now. Super detailed... The amount of work and attention to detail you did on this, amazing!
I'd start with one of the replicas out there. Some are so accurate that they can share components with the originals. Then do your custom work on that. And if you buy the kit and assemble it yourself, you could save a lot of money and get a head start on the mods by building them into the car as you go, rather than modifying an existing one.
