I have just been through this at the age of 44. Started on my feet and moved to legs and then arms. Was in hospital for 4 days on a steroid drip and now on a low dose steroid tablet for 14 days. Had extreme abdominal pain initially and very swollen feet and ankles with a terrible burning feeling in the feet. Not a nice thing at all.
Hope you’re doing better. I’m in the hospital now freaking out. I now know I’ve had it my whole life but it must have been in remission until 2 weeks ago. I’m 53 and very athletic. It’s going to change our lives no doubt. Good luck!
