Lost my wife July 23 2023. She turned 32 in the hospital. She was diagnosed with glioblastoma two months prior and she just withered away. We have a 4 year old little girl and she has a 12 year old girl that was hers from another guy. She was my step daughter for the past 5 years. She went to live with her dad after she passed. My dad lost his leg when he was 7 in a farming accident, then was paralyzed from the waist down in 98. 25 years later after still farming and doing everything he could for many years the antibiotics finally killed his liver and I'm sitting with this amazing man in his death bed when I heard this clip. I lost my husband on the 18th of April 2024, he was 47 and this song was one of the nicest songs I've heard. I used it on a slide show for his funeral and on FB. I lost my youngest child in January to undiagnosed severe bilateral pneumonia. He had just moved back home from Nashville. He was a musician, songwriter$, welder, cyber security tech., inventor and volunteer firefighter. It was very unexpected as he was otherwise healthy. He also farmed with his dad and brother. He was a twin and we lost his sister at 5 1/2 months. I am still trying to learn to live without my baby boy. He had just turned 31 and had so much life left to live. This song really hit home. I am grateful we got those 5 months with him before this happened. I just don't know how to move forward without him. He and his brother were best friends.... I wish I could afford to fly you out to sing it at his celebration of life but every penny I can spare is going to the family to help them were given 3 days to mourn the loss of their only child and that's not enough.

Sorry you had to go through this. I’m worried about my mom and because she lost both her parents 2 days apart Feb 3 & Feb 5, 2021 . I have 2 younger sister but I’m not doing okay been hospitalized years I’m 33 bedridden trach to vent port for my TPN and medications always with some kind of infection with antibiotics all the time and SPC. I’m on Palliative Care and DNR. I’m not scared of passing I’m scared for my mom, she just lost both her parents and going to lose her first born. He was heading home and they could go get mom from the airport. That was the last conversation as he was killed in an accident 10-15 minutes later a mile from his home. Tomorrow would have been his 21st birthday. He was so excited about beginning his new job in aerospace and had fallen in love and they were planning a life together. Twenty years was just not long eno😢ugh. He touched so many people in the short time he was here, but He had so many wonderful ideas he wanted to build and share with the world. Lost my wife July 23 2023. She turned 32 in the hospital. She was diagnosed with glioblastoma two months prior and she just withered away. We have a 4 year old little girl and she has a 12 year old girl that was hers from another guy. She was my step daughter for the past 5 years. She went to live with her dad after she passed. I lost my youngest child in January to undiagnosed severe bilateral pneumonia. He had just moved back home from Nashville. He was a musician, songwriter$, welder, cyber security tech., inventor and volunteer firefighter. It was very unexpected as he was otherwise healthy. He also farmed with his dad and brother. He was a twin and we lost his sister at 5 1/2 months. I am still trying to learn to live without my baby boy. He had just turned 31 and had so much life left to live. This song really hit home. I am grateful we got those 5 months with him before this happened. I just don't know how to move forward without him. He and his brother were best friends....

I lost my dad to numerous types of cancer 2 February 2023. I had to watch as the cancer tore through his body. At the end after 3 days of constant moaning he lost the battle and all that was left was skin and bone, nothing else. Today is 14 months since his passing. I get very emotional on every 2nd day of every month. I know it sounds cruel, but I prayed that God would just take him, so that he didn't have any pain anymore a d I know he's in a better place where he doesn't hurt anymore..... BUT IT JUST DOES NOT GET BETTER FOR ME. I MISS HIM WITH MY WHOLE HEART. YOUR SONG IS BEAUTIFUL AND ALTHOUGH IT ALWAYS MAKES ME CRY..... I have 2 younger sister but I’m not doing okay been hospitalized years I’m 33 bedridden trach to vent port for my TPN and medications always with some kind of infection with antibiotics all the time and SPC. I’m on Palliative Care and DNR. I’m not scared of passing I’m scared for my mom, she just lost both her parents and going to lose her first born. It's been 18 months since my only child of 24 took her life. I still feel like Im in hell. I havnt yet reached the point of finding memories healing, I hope to get there one day. This song has helped so many of us get through the death of my nephew. He had just called his dad saying he was sorry for running late, but was picking up the medallion (cum laude) he would wear at his graduation. He was heading home and they could go get mom from the airport. That was the last conversation as he was killed in an accident 10-15 minutes later a mile from his home. Tomorrow would have been his 21st birthday. He was so excited about beginning his new job in aerospace and had fallen in love and they were planning a life together. Twenty years was just not long eno😢ugh. He touched so many people in the short time he was here, but He had so many wonderful ideas he wanted to build and share with the world. His laugh was incredible. To know him was to be blessed.
